Don't wear any of these if you ride a motorcycle because all of them will tear like tissue paper when you crash. Instead you can buy specific leather jackets with riding armour built into them so they will actually protect you. Pretty much all such jackets are made so that the armour is removable for everyday comfort.
100% correct, but wearing any of these jackets would beat the hell out of the guy I see riding in a tank top and flip flops.

I recently bought a black suede bomber style jacket from A&F. I liked it so much that I thought I would also like it in leather. So I bought one.
The leather version, does not look good at all.
So I exchanged it for yet another one in suede. (Yes, it’s my favorite jacket)
Price was nice too as each purchase was less than the last.
I am loving the body type videos! I am working on starting a new career and redefining my personal style and these videos have been a tremendous help to me!

A video on “matching” your jacket and boots would be very helpful. This especially applies with brown leathers. From my understanding your boots should typically be darker but some insight would be much appreciated! Any commenters are more than welcome to reply with their thoughts as well.
I own two pairs of boots in dark brown. One is a chukka style, the other a harness boots. Most of my leather jackets are black. For the most part, you can mix up your jacket leather and your boot leather colors. But if you wear a belt, I recommend matching that with your boot color.
The jacket is usually an accent to the outfit. So it gets a pass on the color spectrum unless you're wearing super different colors for each piece of your outfit. But black top and brown bottoms look better than a brown top with black bottoms, in my experience.

A brown suede trucker jacket is also a classic.
FYI, the Harrington jacket comes from the movie Peyton Place, where a Harrington college-aged kid was one of the Harringtons who ran the town. It has slant pockets that have button flaps if I recall. It is typically cotton with plaid lining and favored by Preppies, if such a term still exists.

Schott Perfecto design in buffalo hide and full length london fog cut over coat in the same buffalo have served me loyally since 93.
Bespoke leather is ALWAYS the way to go if you have the sheckles.
I should note the reason I went bespoke is due to the fact the I have a 15 inch drop now that was 23 inches then and no coat maker worked for my build. I'm 6', 185, 33"waist, 48"chest now but I used to be 235 with a 32"waist and 55"chest back then.
A good made to measure/bespoke jacket is always going to work better regardless of the style). Hope JL Rocha starts offering made to measure/custom order for their jackets so I can actually order a jacket from them. RIght now, a place like Jacket Maker is good enough. The Jacket Maker will actually work with you to make sure you get a jacket that both makes sense from a fit perspective and from a production perspective. But I'd want that anyway for a leather jacket (or nice jacket in general) since we are harder to fit than we think we are.
I like the A2 USAF flight jacket because you can wear it with a tie in dressing up or you can wear it with a T-shirt.😃👍

I love my suede bomber but the one I got only had two sizes S and M so I went with M cause it fit better, even tho can be snug when I zip up I userly live it unzipped unless I'm a bit Cold, so then I hugs my chest and hips for Xtra warmth. And cause it wasn't going to be in store again and I took some time to think on it.

I thought 'blouson' basically meant the same as bomber jacket-as in it is a bit fuller and 'blouses' over an elastic waistband.

Leather jackets have been my thing all my life. It started with a hand me down double rider from my brother, to an oxblood Harrington style, to a button up aviator style, ending with a slim moto style. Now in my 30's, I own 5 leather jackets. Two are custom made, one for motorcycle racing and one asymmetrical based off a character in a video game, then a standard double rider, a hybrid aviator double rider, and 90's trench coat style. I plan on getting another custom asymmetrical and eventually a Schott perfecto in horeshide.
Do I need more? No. But I live in Chicago and I almost have a jacket for every type of weather you can expect in any given Midwestern day lol

I recently bought a brown, sued Harrington jacket from a local maker. It's my first leather jacket and man, this thing smells and feels great! Its also much warmer than I anticipated. Unfortunately, I feel that the jacket is one size larger than what i should have bought but i feel it still looks good on me.
The larger size is great because you can add layers, whereas if it's tight you are more limited with your style options.
Look at Judas Priest and Motorhead if you want to look and dress cool. There is a reason why rock guys get all the hottest chicks. Its not solely because of the clothes of course

I am a 61-year-old man. I am 6'4, 245 lbs. My issue is I have a long upper torso. I only have a 32-inch inseam while being 6'4" I am all upper body with very broad shoulders. Bombers are too short for me. I look good in Pea coast or car coats but I want a nice fall-weight jacket without resorting to wearing sports coats all the time. Suggestions?

alright , i am 6 3 , about 83 kgs , a slighly muscular build , slighly , i m mostly lean though , i have 33 .5inch waist , 41 chest and about 19 shoulders , i have a longer inseam than normal for my height , around 34.5inches and a slightly shorter torso . what should i go for ? i love double risers and bombers and field jackets , but which is the best for me ? i dress causal 330 days of the year and rarely put on a suit
I'm not sure if you've ever done a video about this, but have you ever seen how the main character in "Doctor Who" dresses? Specifically Tom Baker, David Tennant and Matt Smith really. I think they do look rather fashionable even if the look is meant to stand out due to its oddness. Though heavens me, I think if you saw Colin Baker's Doctor Who outfit you may indeed be utterly baffled for a minute.

Just an idea for these clothing videos: perhaps use someone who is overweight and also someone who is skinnier.
Using yourself or a model is good and all but I just think when you’re recommending a piece of clothing to someone who is skinny or fat, it could be worthwhile showing us how it actually looks on such people.

One must try on a leather jacket before purchasing, it either fits perfectly or it looks dumpy. If youre buying to ride do your due diligence to understand every facet of its leather type/species, thickness and construction and choose from a dedicated well proven brand. Riding in a fashion jacket, it will immediately disintegrate and may cost you your life.
So, Antonio, apart from the field jacket, there's nothing for taller muscular guys?
As a college student, I want to try and build up my wardrobe so that I can look better in my day to day life instead of just wearing t-shirts and shorts everywhere. My main problem in attaining this goal, however, is my wallet. Being in college, I'm not afforded much time to work, and as such, can't really afford much in the way of high end clothes. I've heard that a good way to get started on a budget is by thrifting, but I'm not sure how exactly to go about that. Perhaps you already made a video talking about how to start your style journey, but if you haven't, a video on how to start building your wardrobe on a budget may be helpful
I have found leather jackets at Goodwill. They have a location next to my favorite grocery store. I never know what I might find at Goodwill and I have found some very useful clothes, especially blazers and jackets. If I buy something and it turns out not very useful, I haven't wasted a lot of money. eBay is another source, especially if you know what you want. I have got some great linen shirts and dress shirts on ebay.

I'm looking for a leather jacket and am 190cm or 6.23 tall, atlethic build 50/50 leg body proportion.
There is two leather jackets i'm curious about but can't seem to find to buy:
* Norfolk jacket* in leather (looks like field jacket but with belt and only lower pockets and blazer style collar ).
* Ike Jacket / Eisenhower ike jacket* in leather ( traditionally the ike jacket is not leather but olive drab coloured wool, but I find the leather ones looking so damn good considering I personally like dress in vintage style, and belive this particular jacket compliment my 50/50 making my proportions 2 /1 however i can't seem to find this leather jacket either ).
so if anyone know of where one can accuire vintage leather jackets or someone that craft custom leather jackets i'd much appreciate that information!

I do like the Harrington since its simple and timeless, everything seems like out of time or one would find at a cosplay event. All those padding and zippers.
Btw Red leather jackets, are we in agreements that it only works if one is Cosplaying? I like red but it extremely hard to coordinate with anything.
Brad Pitt and MattPat from the theory channels are the only two guys I’ve seen pull off a red leather or faux leather jacket, and even Brad Pitt looked pretty dodgy in it.

Thats a pretty interesting outlook. Just yesterday i was shopping for new Henley shirts. The store site was using black models. I saw them sporting the Henley i liked and thought that would look damn good on my white ass. 🤷♂️
