The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

I really enjoy Welyn's vids of Rust even though I've never played the game, and whenever he makes a passing comment about how long it took him to mine some sulfur or how it takes 100 goddamn charged shots to kill one turret it makes me appreciate how tedious this game would be to actually play and how much of the bad aspects are removed by the magic of video editing.

17:00 you were wondering what that was, it is a glitch with a plug-in that allows you to store vehicles in your inventory, if you place it inside a small box like this it auto puts you in the vehicle and you can clip through walls, rocks, and even go under the map
