The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

Can we just appreciate the effort Welyn puts into his production value? Just for the opening shot, he had to recreate the map on his own private server, fly over the island and line it up pretty spot on to the map projection, just for like a 3 second transition. This guy CARES about his content

You can tell he cares a lot about his viewers and the content he puts out. I watched a few of his rap battle videos the other day and you can even tell then he takes pride in what he is doing. He was learning all the words in the dictionary for them battles!

I want to get this game but it’s looks really really really hard and I can tell that I’m going to hate this after playing it
@@NoNameAtAll2 I think hes getting at the fact that people can come along and just crush your base and take all your loot that took you so long to gather.
It stings I know, however without the fear of it, the game just isnt the same.
The game just really dosnt favour solo players to much sadly, especially if there not a hardcore gamer with xbow headshots from across the map.
Some solo dude comes and spends a couple hours each day building up a little base and some stuff over the days and then some group comes along and pillages him in a few hours or less. Kinda kills it for alot of new players.
What saves it tho is the quick wipes, its almost just like a fresh episode each week, so you dont really have to get to salty, play on something like a 5x 10x server helps to as much easier to restart.
You gotta put at least 2k hours in then you may be free from the game of rust

Dude, massive respect to the guy that came back and said GG. Thats great and rare. People like him set great examples that people should just follow and if they did, video games would be just more and more fun. Yes, i understand, rivalry is great. But in here, you saw a good bit of pvp and rivalry, but it was still ended in a friendly and respectful manner. We can all kill each other alright in games, but lets just say gg at the end of it and just admit defeat and from that point on, defeat is just victory without the loot ;).
