I just tried this last weekend and the results were great. We have very hard water and shaving cream got all the tiles grout lines clean. I have used shaving cream to clean upolstery, before. It's great for getting the grime out of the chair backs and arms. I am going to try it on the vinyl in the car next.

I'm a retired nurse and in nursing school (years ago) we were taught to clean poop off skin by using shaving cream. It cleans, softens and cuts the odor!

Does this leave a film on the surface when you're done? If it feels sticky or weird I'd have to clean the film off with something.
