I know in the coming weeks, I will see loads of fabric haul videos by sewing vloggers about what they personally bought for BF/CM, but it would be really great for yours/their subscribers to get some intel about these sales in advance. I am sure you don’t know the specifics of retailers’ BF/CM deals, but I just watched a well-known beauty blogger who also didn’t know the specifics either talk about what was already on sale for early BF and spoke about her experience, by brand, for 2021’s BF/CM. She said she obviously didn’t know for sure if this year’s deals would be the same as last year’s, but by providing the details on last year’s deals, by brand/retailer, it was enormously helpful - whether or not it pans out to be true (having worked with online retailers for years, I can tell you that chances are high that they will roll over the same promo calendar YoY). Is there any way you can maybe share that info with us re: where you have seen BF/CM deals in the past? Your audience would way rather see a video like that in advance of these major sale days than see your own fabric hauls after-the-fact. Again, no guarantees that this year will match prior years. I’m sure everyone would be cool with that.

I made the Cashmerette sweatshirt dress out of a nice fabric with a fleece-type feel on the inside. It’s so nice and warm with the double brushed poly inside of the hood and kangaroo pocket! I have been wearing it to the gym over leggings. I LOVE the Cashmerette club.

Sounds like a great deal! I'm hesitating because I am not curvy, more like a rectangular shape with extra fluff in the middle. Don't hesitate to make the bra though. I recently discovered bra making (from another pattern maker), and bras are surprisingly easy and quick to make, and addictive too. One tip for bra making use a walking foot, it'll make slippery fabrics much easier to sew.

So many cute patterns, but being on the smaller and decidedly rectangular size, their patterns take more grading for me than I’m usually willingly to do (I’m lazy). However, the sizing calculator on their site is amazing! What a great tool for their customers!

Hi Whitney, whilexwatching this video, I was attracted to the Friday slipover v neck you are wearing. So I wnt ahead and bought the pattern. I have no problem with the broken rib stich, but am confused with the materials section. It says" Sunday by Sandnes Garn " held together with Brushed Lace from Mohair by Canard". Do you know what this means?? The alternatives given" Tynn silk mohair or Silk Mohair, are they used on their own, or are they " held together" with the other yarn. I really hope you can shed some light on this. I've searched online but remain confused. Hope you can help regards Marie
Yes. You knit the entire pullover holding two strands of two different yarns together. You hold a silk mohair yarn (lace weight) with a fingering weight yarn. You knit on larger needles than normally used for this thin of yarn, but the combination of the silk/mohair and the fingering makes a really lightweight and airy fabric. It's lovely!

My high bust is 42” and 47” for the full bust. But I’m only 5’3” tall with a full tummy. I think my shoulders are a bit narrow too. I’m a member of the club too. Will I likely be able to use the cashmerette patterns work for me with less alterations than other indie patterns? What dress or shirt pattern would to recommend starting with? I’ve downloaded the free ones so far.
I think that anyone with fuller bust has much better luck fitting with pattern companies that offer cup sizes. I have to do very few alterations to Cashmerette, though I do have to grade up at the waist (I have to straighten the waist a bit).
This is tempting. I've been eyeballing the Upton pattern for weeks. I am wondering, however, where you get your PDF patterns printed? I've never done that before.
I’d rather they held a conventional sale. While there are one or two of their patterns I like, there’s no way I’d get value from their very expensive membership. Most disappointing!
Yikes I just signed up too I'm going to try the bra. I need bras that cost a fortune but aren't that much different to ordinary ones. So I'll be saving money in the long run.Right? Yeah
