  • This is the third video in the Capture 1 series. It covers the basic edit sliders in Capture 1 Pro, from white balance to high dynamic range sliders. It's a good place for beginners to get an understanding of the core editing sliders, as well as for more advanced users to get a refresher and maybe pick up something new.

Very straight to the point. Great teaching, just the reasonable interventions. Thank you very much!

Thanks for watching and for the comment Martin. Yes, sometimes just the basics is all that’s necessary. I’m building up to doing some more complex edits as examples.

Your tutorials are outstanding Emil. Having taught in public schools in the US for 35 years ( now retired 😄) I can easily spot someone who knows how to teach and someone who THINKS he knows how to teach. You Emil are a teacher.
I've been using Capture One for over one year and love it. Getting tips and new perspectives from experts like you help me develop my skills using Capture One. Thank you very much. I'm looking forward to your future tutorials.

Thanks so much Barry! I really want to spend time putting more of these together…it’s just a question of finding the said time (I teach at a private College, run a commercial studio and try to pull my share of the weight in running a photography workshop company). Nevertheless, more are planned! Thanks for the comment and the subscribe!

It's interesting to see how people develop using capture one. More videos using C1 and the TK plugin would be exciting indeed !!
    Thanks Emil

Thanks Jose. The plan is to go theough C1 to build up a bit of a database…and possibly do the same with TK

This is a really good video about Capture one. Even I used it for years I get some tips from you. I also like to see more of TK8 and how you combine with Photoshop and Capture one. Thanks alot for shearing your skills 🙂

A minor point here. At 9:02 you hit "reset", not only did that reset the tools on the adjust panel you were working on it also reset your lens corrections and your film profile so you are not working in the Film Standard colour profile anymore and all your lens corrections are back to how they were when you originally started working on the image. Very much enjoy your relaxed and clear way of explain processes.

Aaah, you are correct (didn't even realise until you pointed it out)! Silly error while trying to describe the tools...not something that would happen in a real world editing scenario I am guessing. Thanks for the heads-up on my 'typo'
