@@structuremedia1935Something went wrong; i've just fixed it :)
Do the presets work with Lightroom or only Lightroom CC?
This is great information. One thing that I think would help the video is that when you get to the end of editing a particular photo, slow down and show the before and after to make the difference as clear and observable as possible.
Ah that's a good point! Will keep that in mind for the next video :) Thank you!
@@thaticelandicguy , I have to give you big KUDOS!! it's only been 10 days since I watched your video and started experimenting with your tips. It's made my results so much better. Thanks a ton!
I thought the same thing. Haha
I was just about to write the same comment. Thanks for the great video and tips, but show the before and after photos to really make the point :)
I love how you get nerdily excited about the lil things (I am the same!) I think it is absolutely cute😍 this video was super helpful to a beginner like me. I am now gonna watch your next video. Thanks for the amazing content
Great tips! Personally for things like Tip 7, when intersecting another mask I like to use intersect with object instead of subject. Then I can paint exactly what I want where subject will often grab some unwanted areas that you have to brush out like it did with your bird nest. Using object for me makes it more precise and saves a potential step of getting rid of areas after.
Beautiful vintage spring paintings!
Awesome dear. Big like
Always with best tips!!! You are awesome!!
You're the best!!
Keep coming with the great editing tips!! Your preset organization is awesome too!! Definitely considering switching my organization system for my own 🥰
It'd be great if you showed the BEFORE photo after finishing each photo.
Next time! It’s a great idea ☺️
This might be my favorite editing video I’ve seen on yt. Thanks for sharing your insight.
Subbed for this and the last video I watched. Amazing help - you move quickly, but I can see what you're doing, and I'm learning more than I thought possible.
Finally a video that delivered something that I didn't already knew how to do and kept true to its title. Thanks dude, loved these tips!
Glad to hear it! 😌
Such a cool and informative video! Thanks so much for the good vibes also! I'm really inspired to continue refining my style now.
Some amazing tips, Lightroom is so much more versitle than I had imagined!!
Such an informative video. Took a lot of notes :) Thank you!!!
Thank you! Took my editing to another level! Gonna mask it up!
Mask are life
Well, that was great! I thought I was already pretty adept when it came to Lightroom, but the vast majority of the tips you have shown are new to me, thanks! Intersecting gradients has opened my eyes to so many more possibilities. I now have to go back over hundreds of images and try it out 🙃
Useful and entertaining to watch, thank you! 💕
Thanks for watching! 😌
Thanks for sharing, it's really helpful.
You are without a doubt the best Lightroom teacher on CZcams, at least for me. Extremely easy for beginner & hobbyist users to understand. You do an excellent job explaining professional tricks and processes in a manner that is not overwhelming. Not to mention fun to watch. Really have to say your videos & this channel have not only elevated my skills but my enjoyment of the hobby as well. Cheers from Chicago!
Woah thank you for this kind comment ❤️ I truly appreciate it!
Great tutorial! Thank you
Thanks for sharing this amazing tips man. Very gratefull for what you do
I appreciate that!!
thanks for all the tips dude, keep up the great work!
Thank you I appreciate it!
Hi, quite new to editing & loving your lr tutorials, I’m interested in your street photography preset but as I mainly photograph landscapes I’m wondering if the presets will work well with those?
THAT WAS AMAZING THANK YOU so much
Very unique techniques. Great job!
Thank you very much!
Awesome tips, my guy -- thank you!
Happy to help!
The luminance mask just blew my mind 🤯🤯
Thanx, man!) Cool tips, and one more reason to update LR))
☺️
Great tips and fun video. Thank you
You are so welcome!
I really love your channel, just got lightroom pro and you are really helping me
Happy to hear 🙏🏻
This is actually really informative. 😮❤ thank you!
You're so welcome!
Amazing. You explain everything clearly, directly and in a friendly and interesting qay. Subscribed!
Appreciate that! 🙏🏻
Was stopping by to give my Icelandic brother some love and saw this video at 134k views(at the time of commenting) and the biggest smile filled up my face.
Bet your old high school mates are thinking “that Arnulfur is a teacher now”. Love from Canada brother.
Thank you for this video, subscribing! On tip 8, where you used the brush to edit the shoe, you can alternatively use the object tool which may require less refinement.
Brilliant video!
thank you!
what's your favorite little trick, hack or editing technique to do in LR?
Awesome man
Thanks!
Thanks a lot 👊🏼
Thanks for watching ☺️
Great tips!
Glad you think so!
Why you draw a mask in the entire picture with the gradient and then intersect with luminosity range (to remove dark parts) instead of just simply selecting highlights with the luminosity range?
that's a great idea, never thought of it, just always done it like this. Would that make the transition (gradient) from the shadows to highlights as smooth? That's what I'm after. I don't want a sharp edge on the highlights but a gradient decline of the mask from the shadows. That's what really sells the effect imo.
@@thaticelandicguy if you use the same luminance settings (the feathering and full intensity sliders) just simply inverted it should mathematically be the same. If they are not, well I would need to go full nerd on this because that does not make any sense to my brain😂
Your beard always deserves like😉
hey your videos awesome i learnt lot from these tutorials , can you please suggest me can i achieve the same results in the affinity photo 2 as well??
Wonderful video!! Is there a way to add blur to lightroom images? Photoshop offers a variety of blur options but I haven't been able to find one in Lightroom.
Cheers!!
Wow that's a lot. Excellent. I watched a lot of your videos but never subscribed. Done. Thank you.
Appreciate that! Welcome to the club 😎❤️
Where can i adjust those options you have during maskong? I have all sliders together without tone curve or point color in mask mode? 👀
thank you so much
Welcome 😊
#10 is a definite game changer! 👍
Wow to be honest I never explored the masking too much beyond the simple AI filters. I didn’t even know what intersect was. Very informative!
Glad I could help!
I'm so happy I stumbled upon your channel via a post on Reddit: the way you explain masks is just so easy!
Quick question: does everything you say also apply for Lightroom Mobile?
What people are sharing my stuff on Reddit? 😂 that’s awesome, do you by any chance remember the post?
And yea the same principles apply to lr mobile, or I edit my mobile photos the same way pretty much.
Hi. I love watching your videos and I find them very helpful. I just recently purchased the Sony a6700 and a SD V90 card. I'm having issues playing back the 10 bit 4k footage that I recorded on my computer. It is very choppy when I try to play it back. How do you view your 10 bit 4k Sony footage on your computer? I was hoping to be able to record in the highest 10 bit 4k quality but currently I can't play it without it being choppy so I really hope maybe you can help me.
Those tools too powerfull
Masks are really helpful to get the image to the next level, even for a beginner like me :)
I wonder, how your phone grid looks like 🤔 - are all images here also masked? :D
But I guess you edit mainly on desktop / LR classic :)
Thanks for sharing my friend :)
Yea mostly on the desktop! But I also lean heavy on masks on my phone haha 😝
NUMBER 4 had me SHOOK
What version of lightroom are you using?
Could you do a video on how to color grade and use ur luts from the shop?
there is a 16min tutorial that comes with the lut pack, where I dive deep into how I color grade :)
@@thaticelandicguy nice, thank you!
Whar lightroom version do you used? is look deffrent on my lightroom
you can also use the "duplicate and invert", related to tip 7. So create a mask for foreground, make it darker, right click on it, duplicate and invert and you have another one that is affecting the background, where you can modify and make it brighter.
Ah so cool! Thank for the tip!! 🙏🏻☺️
@@thaticelandicguy no, thanks for all your tips :))
I recently discovered by myself masking: my workflow will never be the same. It's game changing
You are an artist of Lightroom no doubt on it but if you can show after your operation the before after effect it could be good to better understand your tip :). Thx in advance.
you are not the first one to point that out, I will do that in future videos for sure!
@@thaticelandicguy thx a lot :)
Which version of light room is this
mine lightroom version is 8.2, will this feature is there, I could not find it.
What kind of lightroom did you use? because mine its not the same
he is using lightroom classic in case you haven’t already figured it out
I like your beard btw
👋👋👋👋👋👋
😊
Bro can i get raw images like these.
*Only for editing purposes
i need adobe lightromm creck files
Let's watch last one first then.
😏
I have strong impression, you like masks. Is it right?
What makes you think that? 😂
Masks?
@@bertalx44anyone said masks?
Nah ^^@@thaticelandicguy
Ur tips look good but why is ur masking already booted up with edits before u show us why not show us from beginning 😔
Dont get me wrong I'm not hating I took ur tips to my heart and use it daily love ur work and videos ❤
👍🤌💫💫💫💫💫💫
🤝🏻☺️
u sound like the swedish chef from the muppets.
Day 7 of asking for a E-Mount lens
Dude, second photo is 1:1 with original ? Where is the effect ? 😂
bro sounds like an ai generated Finnish version of piximperfect 😂👌
lol 😂
Why would pros spread around all the tricks they found out? They have better things to do. E.g. making better images than non-pros.
they wonts share them because pro's dont use lightroom. #captureonepro
But, you share it? So it means you are not a pro?
Correct 😫
your website doesnt work :)
yea I just noticed, stressing out atm trying to fix haha
"Tricks"?
There is nothing 'tricky' about subjective editing!
Showing how you would post edit an image is not a "trick"❗
No help whatsoever. You never addressed the applications of each technique.
