  • With the rise of alternative couplings, like Kadee, or even GLR Mag couplings, sadly those who have older stock, like wagons from Mainline or Lima or even Kit built have a slight problem.
    NEM pockets are the new standard for OO, and are fitted to all new stock and locomotives.
    This was a problem for me.... Which is how I started making by 3D printing pocket converters for my stock.On this Video I will show you what I have made, and have been selling for a number of years, as well as some new versions.
    It is not a one size fits all, so there will always be new or slightly different versions.
    You can find all of these on eBay or on my Facebook page:

    I got the opposite problem I'm trying to get a cover that I can use in bachmann usa rolling stock and loco that will work with UK models.
    Might have to 3d print something since nothing seems to exist for it also don't want to convert UK models to knuckle couplers since the knuckle couplers were giving me so much grief I basically stopped wanting to do anything with them.

    • @bluebellModelrailway
      @bluebellModelrailway  Před 3 lety

      We are looking at it, sadly we don't have a solution at the moment for these or an item of rolling stock to test measure and check, we think it will be similar to what we have for bogies... But needs time to develop... Test ect.

    These look great. Your video was 2 years old at the time i came across it. I'm hoping to convert and upgrade an old Triang Blue Pullman (fitting flush glazed windows, adding fans and grills in place of the old plastic ones etc) what would really set it off would be KD couplings. Have you developed any pockets for these old Triang couches or could you recomend any? Thanks.

      Is this the bogie Sr luggage van.. With a riveted big D coupling? I think I have one some where... But might be in storage.
