All the things I used to do with raw HTML code and Photoshop rolled into a few must have programs...and taught by a 'Superman' educator.. One of the best video presentations I have seen to date . This guy is gooood! I would not call this website 101 instead , I would have to use the term website 1001 as most every thing you need to create a modern website is here....for free even!...Much thanks...I hit subscribe in the first 10 minutes..

Hey pal, sorry to disturb you but could you tell me how to change the default images that comes after importing Astra website?
@@anangelsdiariesI dont use Astra..so dont know for sure... but typical WP themes can be changed when you edit the page with whatever page editor you are using. I use Elementor, which has a learning curve of its own. Iin the editor , you will see the image and there is a little pencil in the upper right corner...clip that.It will bring up menu on left side for that image. you can delete and/or add images/video to the exact place you deleted the previous from..
I would think this would work...and that Astra didn't do anything stupid like make certain images proprietary

Thank you very much for addressing and exposing these big hosting companies, they are only there for money and do not provide the service that customers are paying for and are expecting. Based on my own experience with these companies I would 1000% avoid these and use the companies that WPCrafter is suggesting. When I moved to the in motion hosting, I realised what I had to go through with these other companies, they hire people from different fields that’s have no experience in website hosting and how to deal with your problems. I have been on the phone with them for hours for a simple problem which they couldn’t resolve. Also, fast host is another company and I had the same experience, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with these companies. Only when I moved to in motion hosting, I realised how important customer service and support is.

Adam, firstly I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I stumbled across you a few months ago as I was starting to build a website and you have been a source of phenomenal value in what I am gradually doing. I wish that I had this video six months ago - the first time that I sat down to start building a website, I sat for 23 straight hours, not having a clue...I didn't know what a theme was vs a plugin, nor how to load them...if only I had had this then : )))
You have genuinely created a tutorial at my level - "idiot-proof" and you have genuinely finally given me the tools and step by step guidance to empower me to actually start selling.
I really do wish that I had seen this 6 months ago, as you have spelled out step by step how to do this for free! With Wordpress, Astra, Elementor & WooCommerce - I've spent an awful lot unnecessarily, so anybody watching this as they start out is receiving a huge financial benefit from you.
This is genuinely the best tutorial for a beginner that I have ever seen - front to back, start to finish - and I LOVE the pace, I really dislike other videos that go too fast and skip over things.
Over the last 6 months, I have partly and painfully pieced together 3 websites, but have consistently stalled at the Shop/WooCommerce stage - you have just unlocked that for me - Thank you so much!
There are a host of new things, that I still had not discovered:
- How to get rid of "Hello World"
- Timezone Settings
- Permalinks & Post name
- that the mobile responsive changes were specific to that view
- Table rate shipping - and thank you for referring to the WooCommerce article as I operate globally and have been hamstrung by this.
- That WooCommerce allows Bank Transfers & COD - relevant not only to the Middle East and Africa, but even to some parts of Continental Europe where credit cards are not popular.
- The WooCommerce Upsells and Cross-Sells - I'm not so concerned about dumping Clickfunnels now : )
- The WooCommerce options for Amazon affiliate commission.
- The product customisation options
- What the hell breadcrumbs are!
A few questions notwithstanding the genuinely phenomenal value that you have delivered:
- Can you suggest a few options for figuring out the shipping based taxation please?
- What's the plugin for automating the sale process for downloads please?
- Is there somewhere that I can find some example Terms & Conditions please?
- Is there somewhere that you recommend for developing an SKU protocol?
Do you have anything on:
- Landing page structure
- Google Ads
- What the hell the Facebook pixel is and how the hell we are supposed to use it?
- An idiot proof guide on blog set up
And by the way - do you ever sleep?

This is the exact video I needed at this time Adam, thank you! I'm about to build a new E-Commerce website & considering Astra as an alternative to Divi. Haven't used Elementor before, but now feel confident Astra + Elementor is a winning combo! Amazing to see how Astra has integrated WooCommerce so beautifully, and your step-by-step tutorial saves even more time! Previously I'd have to custom code the Woo styling I wanted via PHP snippets. With Astra, that seems a relic of the past!

This is a long one, so far been able to catch about half of this, having a lot of experience in this it's always nice and entertaining to watch someone putting it together in front of you. My biggest take away so far are seeing Elementor in use, didn't know I could save containers in Elementor and one of the reasons I've never used my pro license. I found your channel about two months ago and made many major (and good) decisions after watching your videos. I love how you give honest and unbiased opinions on products! I now use A2hosting, Elementor Pro, and Astra pro and love them! All plugins and themes have bugs and issues, but good product developers ( eg. of the products you endorse) work with the customers to fix these products. And I have had only good experiences with the customer service of Astra and the other products I mentioned. Thanks Adam for all you do! P.S. I'm 15 and love working with computers, and watching your channel has taught me a lot :)

Wowsers another amazing tutorial - and you are correct your voice is perfect for watching at high speed 1.5x for me, so much gold in your video but these where my highlights
1. Astra is a game changer I wasn’t convinced because I’ve tried so many Wordpress themes - but the ease and functionality of astra in combination with elementor, makes it very easy for newbies like me to get a store looking like sample stores with very few clicks - what it becomes about is your personal creativity. You have shown how easy it is to make changes.
2. Woocommerce - the most detailed and easy to follow woocommerce editing I have seen, changing the page layouts for pretty much every page is what I have seen missing in other tutorials and you answer this question in detail everything from sidebars widgets filters columns - and that’s just the astra setting. (The add to cart button colour my fav tip and just so easy to change)
3. Initial setup tutorial - just essential newbie info that lays a great foundation I love the colour pallet and font tips and also logo design real value.
Such a great resource - especially for newbies like me, to get started in ecommerce.
