I thought the same thing but he is enjoying success calling games...not sure he wants the grind of coaching. He put in a lot of time in the league living or dying on every play.
Reggie is spot on about the final plays in the ECF. You don't have a second year player inbounding the ball during the eastern conference finals. McConnell, Siakam, or Turner should have been inbounding the ball with the game on the line.
I told Jamal yesterday and tell Reggie today that when U2 call the game with Harland it is my absolute favorite call when you guys are on the game !! Adam Silver better figure this out TNT did the best job hands-down with the NBA . There are simply no comparison to the others.

I'm also not a NBA fan, but I watch some of the playoffs and this year I've watched big chunks of most of the series because I found them intriguing. As a Knicks fan hearing him talk I could definitely see him being a head coach somewhere if not in Indiana his brain is all basketball, and I'll take a day off of work to watch him play at Rucker
It helps a LOT but I think he would’ve made it without a great college career, anyway. We’re not talking about someone like D-Rose, who won MVP but then got injured and never was the same again… Walton won MVP but!.. he also led a team to the Finals and then to a ring while winning FMVP. Plus, Bill won another ring, being 6th Man of the Year for one of the GOAT teams.
@@BasketballJones48021 He could have challenged for GOAT Center if he didn't have all of those foot problems. And yes, as a very long Laker fan I remember that 86 Celtics team very well. Why didn’t Pacers foul and grab Brown before shooting the game tying 3 point shot? Boston needed 3 points, free throw gives them probably 2 points and then Pacers get the ball with a few seconds with the time out to advance the ball to the front court. But yes poor basketball IQ on the Pacers inbounder and Brown defender or coach for not telling his guys what to do.

With a title, Al Horford might just make the HoF (looking at some of the people already in)… He won twice in college, and was all-american; has had great longevity in the NBA and at his best was a legit AllStar; was All-NBA 3rd team once, also All Defensive 2nd team; he’s a 5x All Star… A title would solidify him.
