I decided to put together a compilation of all the best bits from several previously unpublished cycling videos. I hope you enjoy this mix @davidbenson735
•Words on screeen... to fast. •Saddle... excellent •Shoes... bring em back. •Music choice... Terrific. •Coffee... always. • Presentation... Superb. •Drop bars... Save drop bars for the peleton. •Liked Subscribed & Shared. Thanks.
Cheers Pete, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The day we rode through the tunnel was baking hot outside but it was very cool inside the tunnel. It was a bit stupid of me to keep my sunglasses on, what was I thinking?😂 I enjoyed putting this compilation together. Hopefully more good videos to come now that the longer days are not too far off. All the best, Dave
Cracking Dave. Glad to see you're back. Great videos and tunes (enjoyed high flying birds tune in the vid). That's some tough ride riding up to rivington pike on that road rocky surface! Fair do's mate. Look forward to more videos from you👍
Thanks a lot. Yeah the Rivington Pike is a tough ride especially up the sheep field behind the High School. If the grass is wet there's very little traction to be had. Some great downhills though, makes the uphill slog worthwhile. Yeah hopefully more vids to come now we have the longer days on the horizon...🤞 Thanks for commenting and all the best...🚲
Hi Dave. I’m glad you seem to have found a comfy seat. That’s always a tough thing … to find just the right one. I really liked the bike packing ride. Great camera angle with the hoods framing the shot. All the best from Lake Erie!!!
Hi Josh, thanks very much. Yeah, I love the new saddle. After getting back from the ride I didn't even feel like I'd been sat on anything for the 30 miles I had ridden. When I made the bikepacking video I had my camera mounted on the handlebars and I used a wide angle setting. I also like framing the shot with the hoods, I might do more of that in the future...👍🏻 Best wishes and happy cycling, Dave...🚴🏼
Yeah, it was quite sketchy riding through the tunnel, wet cobbles aren't great at the best of times, but in the dark with sunglasses on, what a muppet! 😂 Thanks for watching and commenting Randel. I hope it's cooling down a little for you in Perth, it's still cold and very wet over here...🙁 All the best, Dave
Mike worked ok , epic snow and ice riding clip , so glad to see panniers and racks for the bike packing trip instead of those tail/seat bags which I reckon are daft , if you want to go that way , get good old Carradice bags and bag support - been around for yonks from the days when we rode in bobble hats , woolly jumpers and check shirts lol .
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, the mic seems to be better. It's amazing what a small piece of foam can do to suppress the wind noise, I'm pleased with that 👍🏻 I prefer to use panniers cos I can get lots more stuff in them. Also, they are easier to unclip off the rack when you get to camp. All the best, Dave
Thanks Paul. Yeah, that Rivington ride is an old favourite of mine, but it's very tough getting up to the Pike from behind the High School, especially when the grass is wet. Quite a challenge for me these days. Glad you enjoyed the video. All the best, Dave

I enjoyed that.
I've cycled through that tunnel and had exactly the same experience 😎☀️🙈
Cheers Pete, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Wouldn't to fall into that canal tunnel, nice riding, great scenery

Fantastic, glad to see you back! 💪🏁
Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully, more to come soon...🚴🏼
Well the hole in the saddle will come in useful for tunnel runs
Ha ha, yeah never thought of that...😂
Thanks for watching and commenting.
I forgot about that the tunnel 😂
Yeah, I'd forgotten about it too. Your laughing really adds to the video. Thanks for that Si 👍🏻
Is that “planted” on that SI saddle when putting down that “explosive power” you’re renowned for mon?
Ha ha yeah, all 1 second of power before I collapse in a sweaty mess trying to chase your ass up Belmont 😂
Cheers for watching and commenting Thomo.
I thought that missing section in the new saddle was weight saving measures. Thanks for that. Did your rear get wet due to that part missing?
Never thought of that, well spotted. Thankfully I've got mudguards on that bike, so all good there.
Thanks for watching and commenting...👍🏻
