@@gemmarium4337 At the same time the person indicates that they have a drinking issue. Not all have self awareness. They claim theres absolutely nothing wrong with them. So its a fairly unique thing. He accepts that he has a problem, but has no hope that things will ever be what they were.

A Gin Blossom is an old drunk's nose. You know the old drunks with the red varicated bulbous noses? You'll see them on rubbies and in dark bars with afternoon drunks. I loved this band.

The 90s are unique in that there are 2 types of alternative rock that sprouted out of that decade. The heavier, grungy type which has the likes of Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, then there's this type of easy-listening alternative rock.
Now 2 songs embody that 2nd alternative rock type. Toad The Wet Sprocket's "All I Want", and Gin Blossoms' "Hey Jealousy. Listening to any of those 2 songs instantly flashes me back to the early 90s. Good times man. I'm so proud to be a 90s kid

In the '00s I grew fond of metalcore and pop-punk, and these days, I listen to a lot of alt-rock, which is kind of a mix of all of it. Music evolves and so do the people that listen to it.
