- I decided to make a video specific to talking about the letter of recommendation for grad schools (Masters or PhD). I answer a few common questions people asked me like who you should ask for recommendations from, what info is included in the recommendation and the best way I think you should go about asking for that recommendation. This can be a fairly important part of the application so I hope this helps. Enjoy!

Probably one of the best videos on this topic. Would expect nothing less from a leaf ninja. Thank you!
Your videos are very helpful and contain very good tips and adivce. I especially like that you first explain the why of the topic; LoR, research experience, etc. Thank you!
Thanks! I'm glad this was useful.
Great video once again! please make videos regarding sop and statement of research and cv especially for undergrads of EE majors applying for direct phd programs, Thank you!!!
Thanks, glad it was helpful! There might be some videos on the channel to check out on some of these topics. I might make more in the future.
Thanks for the video
Glad this helped!
Do you have any advice for those coming from industry? Should I ask for a LOR from my manager (R&D)?
Yes, if you are proud of your accomplishments at your position, the supervisor sound like a great choice.
Do you have tips for freshmen or sophomores in undergrad trying to get involved with research?
Do you have a major advisor yet? Ask him/her
There are lots of things to try out. If you're looking, you could try asking a professor of a class to see if they are taking students. Sometimes, there are dept announcements with openings available. And yes I agree with the suggestion of talking with your advisor as well if they have any leads.
Good content! But I've done research with the same prof for three years so i only got 1 good letter of rec😢
I haven't done anything like this. Is this what grad schools want?
