Ive worked in healthcare for 25yrs. I was always taught to close the toilet lid before flushing and keep tooth brushes on opposite side of sink from toilet. There is splash back and IPC ( infection prevention and control) advises this.
It’s true. I do the same at home always, but nevertheless we are getting sick time to time. It gets outside too (( 🤗

Yes, I agree, as a professional house cleaner. I always keep toothbrushes as far away from the toilet. And one thing I have noticed is that when men or boys pee It's always gonna Splader and I've noticed that on the side of the cabinets. When I clean them regularly, especially in my son's bathroom that there will be a yellow tent that comes off. And you know exactly what that is? So I clean it regularly.
One thing I do is I get a Mason jar and I take and pour Listerine half way into the Mason jar and you make sure that there's a lid and when I get through brushing my teeth, I drop it into that jar, put the lid on. And then that way there are no germs floating on to your toothbrushes and the listering disinfects the toothbrush. Of course, I change it out regularly.
It depends on a boy or man. My men don’t do like this. Accuracy is their good habit. I can not clean the toilet and bath for year and it will be clean enough. Because everyone cleans after himself in my family immediately if something happens ))) 🤗 I love my men ))@@joyceheaton2406

I use a mixture of blue dawn and white vinegar for my shower doors! I also close the toilet lids to avoid splash back.
It's wonderful that you and Becka have a wonderful friendship. I follow you and her both. I hope that her surgery helps her out in the long run. I have black out curtains in my bedroom, and I've always loved them. Normally, when I go to bed, I like to have relaxing nighttime music on and the fans on. I hope that you and your family are doing well ☺️♥️
I absolutely love the pink stuff. I use all of it as you know. I've been cleaning for over 20 years. I have my own cleaning business. I do it alone so I do a lot of trial-and-error things in my home first before I use them in anyone else's home most of my clients homes have the glass shower doors from top to bottom. You can use the magic eraser, but I find that if you keep a squeegee in your shower. After you shower squeegee, the glass doors down after each shower and it will help with the water spots and stains. Now, when I clean the glass doors I use the dawn powerwash and then I will rub that in and clean the glass doors. With that, then I will go back and rents. And then I will take can use use the Clear windex not the other kinds that are colored but the clear kind With vinegar in it. And I.
Will use either a clean microfiber. Rag to buff outhe windex or paper towels

Hi Ashley! it’s so much easier to scrub the shower glass with a brush or sponge and just plain dawn dish soap and just rinse off with water. I only use spray on the outside.
CZcams videos. When you leave your toilet seat up when you flush bacteria goes everywhere. That is why I close my lid before I flush. Just think about if the lid is open the bacteria gets on your toothbrush’s if they are not covered.

Ashley, I used baking soda and water to get stains out of my clothes. I also use a sleep mask because I don't have black out curtains. I have blinds. I'm redoing my house from top to bottom.
Athan is getting so tall, I remember when you carried him on your hip!! I like it dark when I go to sleep plus I have to have a fan on. I'm looking forward to the "recipe" for the dishwasher detergent and the clothes detergent, everything is so expensive!! I hope you have a great week Ashley!!!

I know u need the space in ur garage but if u guys are only renting for a yr & will be moving again soon maybe I should save some of the large good boxes for that? 🥰 as for the windows can y buy paper black temp blinds for just the bedrooms? Just a thought to help w the brightness!:)
I could sleep in any type of enviroment. Been like thar since i was a baby. My parents have a picture of me asleep, outside in a wagon during my 3rd birthday.

I have to have a sliver of light, just a little crack in the bathroom door. I also have to have a fan going. Complete silence makes me so paranoid. It’s like I hear everything and I’m up and down trying to see what it is 😂

I was going to mention you that you can make dishdetergent on your own. And I recommend to make your own laundry detergent also. This way you'll know exactly what is in those and it would come a way cheeper. Internet is full of all kinds of recipes, so you will find some that is suitable for you. And bigger kids can help you make those too. Almost all of your cleaning products are interchangeable so go on girl and make your own :)

Try using a cup of baking soda in the laundry! It acts like a softener would and also works as a laundry boost. I get a big bag at Costco

Buy an electric steamer for your shower. And use any cleaner to spray on your shower.

Ugh, I never close the toilet lid and now I’m grossed out! My toothbrushes are in a drawer at least. I like complete silence when I sleep but don’t need blackout curtains as I’m up before the daylight anyway. I’m glad you are getting more and more settled in your home!

You can always use spring rods if you want to hang blackout curtains in your bedroom.
I second the magic eraser, but the only one that works for my hard water and soap scum is the one for bath. I cut them into 4, and each has a purple middle. Works like magic lol

To try and help you can use the rods that go inside a wardrobe that would be cheaper you can buy the end stoppers and a middle bracket, you can order them on line too x

My momma has to go to bed at 6:30 since she goes to work at 2:30 in the morning so she loves black out curtains and she uses a fan. I just need a fan going when I sleep. 🙂 You could maybe super glue the corner back on.

At least you no longer in Texas. March 14 was a big Severe Weather Outbreak that affected Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Indiana and Central Ohio including Tornados. Their are times I wish I was up farther north like in Ontario.
Your steamer will do a great job on shower glass. I use my steam shot to clean and then wipe the glass down with an e-cloth. No chemicals needed 😁. Love your channel and content.

Another option for your dishwasher detergent, is get the liquid kind, and only put half the amount of detergent in. The washer drawers do look tiny, so I would imagine you don't need the full amount.

Since you don't want to hang up a rod, why?
Not use command strips the ones with the big hooks.And if you get black out curtains with grammar's you could just hang them up when you need them at night and then take them down in the morning when you do get up so you can get all your light. Just an idea
When i go to bed i watch tv sound low as i put my parakeets cage in my room at night and they will make a chirping sound if the tv is too loud

I have a parakeet too, and his cage stays in the livingroom. He is so used to being put to bed at 9 p.m., that if I try to keep watching t.v. much later than 9, he gets so mad! 😂 Little squirt will start squawking, thinks he OWNS the livingroom. 😂💙
Hi Ashley, I’m fairly new to your channel and I’m catching up on your most recent videos. You commented on having trouble getting shampoo and conditioner off the glass shower doors… Do you have a Bissell steam shot? There’s an attachment with a microfiber elastic cloth that fits over it. I’ve seen other CZcamsr use this to clean their shower doors.
A good thing to do is to replace the toilet seats.
Ashley, I would have the girls use the hand held shower to hose down the glass doors before they get out of the shower. That will really help with the build up of shampoo/conditioner. Also, as for the pee on the wall, if you have men/boys in the house you will have pee on the wall. I have tile on the lower walls in my bathroom and am always cleaning pee off of it. It probably does not show up as much on non tile walls.

Our toilet does that also, so I did some Google searching and it needs a better sealant around the bottom. I've looked a lowes and they have them. I was blaming it on my 6 year old for the longest time I thought he was literally just peeing everywhere. 😂

That’s a good idea. I bet if I used the razor for the stovetop it would work good on the glass! 💕
