I finally moved! I've been talking about this for awhile and the day is finally here! Hoping that apartment living is only temporary for me but I'm excited to show you guys how I can work with downsizing and organizing creatively in a small space!

I was in a similar situation.
After 12 years we separated and I left the house.
It was 260 m2 (around 2800 square feet).
I found a tiny, cute house with a terrace and a tiny garden (convenient since I have a dog!)
My new place is only 59 m2 (635 square feet!!!) Sooo tiny.
I had to get rid of so many things! But it’s okay! I am thriving here!!

Wow this is beautiful! My apartment is barely 900sq ft! I live in New York of course lol. I love the floors and the updated look of it. I know it’s not wha you’re used to but you will adjust and it can be temporary. Doesn’t have to be you our forever home☺️ I’m getting a divorce too and I would love to downsize...in my RENT! My husband makes more than me so that’s been my worry but I am no longer letting that worry me. I’d have to leave my state to do that though so it’s a plan. For now I am redecorating my home and cleansing it of negativity after my husband moves out. Love this!!! Congrats!!!

Lovely place. Could you switch bedrooms? Carson could use wardrobe as a little play room as it's pretty large space?? Just a thought. Best wishes to you at a difficult time. Just remember it will be so much quicker for you to clean your whole home than before.

I've been a subscriber since you had like 100 subscribers 🙌🏻 and have to say that you seem SO happy in this video. 🤗Praying for your journey. 💓 The kitchen island can be pushed against a wall (maybe by the patio door) and used as a buffet in your dining area, giving you one big open room! Can't wait to see it all come together.
I’m honestly not promoting myself.. just trying to help. I have a 2 bed/2 bath apartment with my brother, so I only get 1 bed 1 bath for myself. We have a laundry room and a coat closet but that’s it for storage (no linen, small pantry, etc.) so I store almost EVERYTHING in my master closet. I have like extra shelves and yeah... I have a video on my channel if your curios how I store everything. I have clothes, shoes, all my extra household and personal care supplies, blankets, towels, etc. lol I hope it helps!

A few years back I downsized from a 1188 sq ft three bedroom two plus bath condo and now live in a one bedroom 670 ft apartment (out of state from Kansas to Colorado). My kids are grown so it's different circumstances but I actually enjoy less space as it is less clean. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Catherine Elaine lots of storage under areas 😂 we have long plastic bins under the crib for diapers and wipes / clothes growing out of and same under my daughters bed ( it’s literally in the hallway ) she has extra work books , and toys she doesn’t play with as much ( she’s 6) then I put in shelving in the bathroom to hand baskets with extra soap etc since no cabinets

I remember my two-bedroom apartment with my oldest daughter (that was over 22 years ago) single & working; Not too mention the downstairs neighbors' kids decided to have their birthday using candles on their very dry Xmas tree (Not the "house warming" party I had in mind.) Luckily, everyone made it out safely and I didn't open my door and chose to go out my front two-story window. My 2-year-old at the time well, I had to make sure the people downstairs would catch her before I released her - I mean hands-on feet before I dropped her out and climbed out myself. Because my apt only sustained smoke damage and a scorched door we were displaced for only a few months and able to get back in. That's how life rolls and it's how you move forward that defines you and makes you stronger. (I just realized that on top of you posting these videos it's also in the midst of the scary C19 pandemic.) Keep strong!! Prayers and hugs from So Cal.

So glad i found your channel i have subscribed & wish you & your son all the very best in your new home - i am also divorced after a marriage of 27 years & 7 children - but life goes on & we learn to cope 💟
Ikea has unit it's black, for hanging coats etc, storage for shoes at bottom 👍 even though closed here in Ireland, they still taking orders online to deliver, hope that's a bit of help for you as in States

Your new place is so cute😊. It will be fun decorating it. With a smaller home you have less room for clutter and less house to clean. My husband and I have owned our 873sq foot condo for 15 years and we have a 6 year old little girl. We love it👍. Take care.
