I've had my KP9 over a year, SBR'd it with the triangle stock, and put an Omega 9K on the front...it is THE SWEETEST suppressed 9mm and the ultimate Vityaz experience with the Zenitco handguard...
I havnt sbred it yet but it's been wearing a rugged obsidian 9. Love it

@@carldouglasmiles5594 Most definitely can agree to that. I’ve purchased probably a 1/2 dozen or so firearms since 2012 and my KP9 ties(almost edges past) my Socom16 CQB in satisfaction. For me it’s really just because it being so handy being such a smaller package. Also being 9mm it’s cheaper to go to the range with in these ridiculous and expensive times. No malfunction issues with ammo or anything. The gun will run anything through it with no stoppages.
Also as Sootch is claiming in the review, it is a great/smooth shooter. Especially with a red dot optic. It’s not quite as smooth shooting as an HKSP5 but the AK trigger is a lot better for a semiauto PCC. Especially when you throw an ALG trigger in it. For the money I’d take the KP9 over the HKSP5 every time.
@@carldouglasmiles5594 To add they are in very high demand which is another hint to how good it is. Got mine 3-4 months ago after 2 months of searching for a distributor that had any in-stock. Finally found CopperCustoms in Indiana and they had 10 in-stock. I swear they had to of had the only ones in-stock in the country.
@@mathewa.4032 I opened one on Christmas morning. I like it. Pairs well with my SP5, APC9 Pro, Kh9 and P26 to give me a decent little collection of PCCs.
@@carldouglasmiles5594 Nice! 👍🏻. Nothing like a KUSA Christmas. Shot it yet? I’d buy an SP5 if I haven’t shot one before. Just can’t justify that price for a pcc with such a disappointing trigger. Not to mention the cost of the aftermarket upgrades/add ons for it. I mean I’ve already decked my KP9 out completely in Zenitco furniture, ALG trigger, Krebs safety lever, Aimpoint T-2 w/lowQD mount clamped on the top cover(not done with my load-out list just yet) and I’m still under the price of a bare bones SP5. Still, it is the softest shooter of them all though. Probably not telling you anything new but drop an ALG trigger in that b**ch.
Being trying to tell them forever. Put a .01c sticker or tag on that rear cover that says "rotate rear sight forward before raising cover" Endless amounts of new owners have dug nice grooves into their cover because they do not know that. You can see the groves from the rear sight blade at around 9:00 in video.

It's a fun gun to shoot, especially with a shorty can. Very well mannered, light, compact, and smooth with ALG trigger. Added the Ivan Tactical left side charging handle, MP5 action all day.

bought myself a binary KP9 for my birthday. I had an authentic Kobra collimating sight laying around so I slapped that bad boy on there. By far one of my most favorite guns in my collection. Got a YHM R9 waiting for approval.

After watching your video on the akv i wanted to buy one and put myself on the waiting list for one and still havent been notified that they are back in stock and that was right after watching you video. The kp9 was in stock and had some very positive reviews so i ordered one and love it. Wish it took cz mags but i ordered a bunch of extra mags with it so im in good shape there. Great pistol and excellent quality.
the akv has been in stock just about everyday for a while now. they restock the site mon-fri at 3:00pm cst so you need to be on the site at 3:00 to get one
Have the kp9 now but would love an akv someday👍🏻

That's nice looking piece there. Done complete my permit class for CCW. Now made appointment to sheriff department to get permit.. everything so backed up because of covid-19..but I'm patient.. I have purchased the M&P 9 shield EZ 9mm Luger Smith & Wesson and it's why I like it because it's american made. But interested in this one.

Just grabbed mine from atlantic. 899 now had to grab. Everywhere else they are 1k or more.
Didnt like the "look" of this until about 2 months ago, for whatever reason. Now, I have a different tune. Seems like a solid choice. I want something in a 9mm Pcc/pdw. Been toying buying Extar Ep9, Brigade, Cz Scorpion, FTM, SAR, etc...........
Im more partial to the palmetto ak-v9 but the kp9 is a fantatic choice too. A little more expensive with a couple of differences. But both are a ton of fun. I like the palmetto better mainly because of the mags.
I have a similar preference due to how cheap the cz mags are compared to the kalash mags
I don't have to watch to know he love it and recommends one..... Right

Bought the kp9, and the akv. Had a lot of hype on the akv from MAC, but for some reason the kp9 just fits me a lot better, and recoil seems better than the akv.
I like it...I do like the krebs custom upgrades for it!
Most places have the mags for around $45/ea, but KUSA sells a 5 pack for $130 ($26/ea,) which is cheaper than Glock stick mags by a few dollars.
Great video...wish there was some action shooting without using the brace.

Not an Integral gas block...there’s no gas system on the KP-9. It’s a direct blowback action.

If I hadn’t have bought 3 Banshees in 45, 40 and 9mm and 5 other PCCs; I would jump on that or PSA’s. I wonder how accurate they are suppressed? My Banshees and Z5P are extremely accurate while suppressed.

One thing, it does NOT take akm furniture. It takes vityaz furniture. You're gonna have a floppy "gas" tube cover, and you'll need to dremel off half the tab on the lower handguard that goes into the reciever. Belive ak103 furniture may fit
I live in western europe where I have access to the original Izmash Saiga 9k made in Russia.
Direct competition to this firearm available to me would be the Stirbog A3 and I saw that you have a video on that one too.
How would you compare them and which one would you preffer? Saiga 9k vs Stirbog A3

I love mine. There is one thing I dont like though. I have the brace on mine and it does not lock up tight. It functions but it has substantial wiggle. Like theres too much play where the latch that the button actuates engages with the brace. Anyone else have that issue?
Wish when gun companies come out with pistol like these they would make more calibers . I think that would be a great pistol in 10mm

I have never really got into shooting guns.i have even worked at a sporting clays shooting range😂sure they had some pretty shotguns but its like golf,spend big money on clubs and you can only use em certain places.🤷🏻♂️

I just procured the KR9S. I grabbed extra mags and they were $23 and change per mag. That price is at gunbuyer. Unsure if the KUSA sells them as cheap. I picked the new addition to the family Saturday morning...so stoked!!❤
Hey Sootch, I know I'm late to the party but I went to install my holosun on the rail and had a hard time getting it to work... Come to find out it is a weaver type rail on the KP-9 not picatinny. What type of red dot are you using? Does? it stay on the pistol?

I got my KP9B from Nate at Gun Zone Deals too. Thanks Gun Zone! What excellent service! What a hilariously fun gun to shoot! Couple things - That rear sight folds forward, so the dust cover lays flatter, and doesn't bounce off the sight. You can get the modified safety so you can lock your bolt back, but there's no last round bolt hold open function on that gun. While my grip has never come loose on its own, I have taken it off. If yours gets loose, make sure you tighten it immediately. It's a real pain to put back on again.
Is there a fin less grip that’s California compliant?
