Bard does Internet, has better formatting and uses images but I have found it to be highly inaccurate. CHATGPT remains my go to unless one of those factors is an issue.
I’m curious what kind of queries Bard was failing on for you?
@@itGenius_ Here are the most recent queries I recall it failing. I asked about the best combination of gear in a game that I play. To some degree, this is a subjective question and multiple answers would have been reasonable. Its failure was that it named gear that wasn't in the game at all and provided a link to a hatchet that was on sale at Amazon. When I corrected it, it provided the name of another weapon that was part of the game but attributed incorrect statistics to it.
On another occasion, I asked it about the date of an event and it provided me the incorrect date.
I think BARD will be a great tool eventually, but I think it still lacks training.

Great comparison! Thanks for putting it together. One thing that might be helpful for comparisons similar to this in the future is a verbal repeat of the prompt that you entered. I found it really difficult to catch up on the context of what you asked of these tools while listening to your impressions of their performance. For the audience, the context of the prompt is important to understanding the context of the performance

I am with you on your assessment. Thanks Peter. I like Googles attempt for accuracy but like all AI tools it can fall short. We need to keep in mind that they are tools to help and not rely on (at least not yet).
I have used ChatGBT to check for some answers (that I knew already as a sure thing) and was surprised at how inaccurate it was. I even had to tell it multiple times that it is still wrong, when it finally just quit and stopped working altogether.
Yeah it’s a weird thing to have Google spit incorrect information out 😆 definitely uncomfortable that they are both so confident when they’re wrong

Look at the other drafts bard created, it creates 3 drafts each with different info

You will be amazed at its answers
I've got Bard , and I really like it, i use it more like an assistant , i do find it useful.
When I tried Bard, I found that the answers Pop Up Very Quickly, now I don't know if it's because of a faster video card or what, but wow! I mean it is like blinking your eyes and there it is, and that alone is creepy. But tolerable. As for doing better Prompts, I find that just asking Bard some suggestions of Prompts seem to work. But I need more testing on that to be certain. lol. Thanks for a good comparison video. I like both Bard And Bing AI. Terry

Hi. I noticed that there was a typo when you asked Bard whether a man should ride in front of a car. You actually typed 'right', instead of ride. Maybe that's why it gave the wrong answer 😁.
Yep, I picked up on that but I was hoping that Bard would work it out like Google search does 😉

I'm in Melbourne and had access to bard since release... As have many Aussies I know
Oh, and Let's Not forget, that Bard admits that it is still in development. Lol.
I'm using Bard now from ChatGPT.
