    He would’ve dominated pool if he wanted to, but why bother when he can go win £500,000 per world championship and £250,000 per uk championship and masters title. American pool just didn’t, and doesn’t, have the prizes to compete back

    • @loganwilliams7635
      @loganwilliams7635 Před 4 měsíci +11

      American pool doesn't but other pool does these days, Chinese 8 ball or European pool talking about having prizes in the millions and already higher than snooker sadly

    • @toziassmitt
      @toziassmitt Před 4 měsíci +16

      @@loganwilliams7635 Chinese 8 ball competes with snooker in prize money, true, their worlds is more prize money than the snooker worlds, but it’s only one tournament- the world 8 ball championship alone. Difference is with snooker it’s possible to win the UK, worlds, masters, German, shamghai.. etc in a year and make millions+ in a single year. Obviously only the very best will have a season like that, but only the very best Chinese 8 ball player will win the Chinese championship. Even if you won every single Chinese 8 ball competition available, which is more difficult, arguably, you still wouldn’t come close. As to European pool, I’m not aware of any pool EU tournament that comes close to snooker prizes tbh. As much as snooker players complain, and they have some right, they make more than every other cue sport going -and by a longshot

    That was a hell of a shot, but I also watched him get his ass kicked in pool by several people on that special where he came over to the States to run around and play various pool games, That wouldn't have lasted long, though, were he start to play those games with any frequency at all. One HELL of a shooter, nobody on Earth who knows anything about him can argue that. If you think you can, go take a look at his five minute perfect break, and it will prove to you otherwise.
