Ray you're forgetting about when Jesus said Unless a man is born again of water and spirit they will not inherit the kingdom of God. That's why people are backsliding they need to die to their old self and come alive with Christ as a new creation. I would like to meet with you and talk about it. Jesus said we shall not fear anything because if he is with us, there's no need of anyone else. i hope i will learn more with time and start talking more detailed about these topics in our religion classes since they teach us so many wrong things and don't really approach God's love towards us.

Can you please pray for my friend Haley? She suffers from deep depression and has told me recently she wants to end her life and that she doesn’t think she’ll be alive much longer. Her family is Catholic but she isn’t anymore. She seems interested in Jesus and even asked if we could do a Bible study together when I brought it up but she canceled last minute. I’m really scared for her and her parents think she’s doing this for attention. She is also sick with Covid-19 right now so I can’t see her in person to support her as she can’t leave her room. I’m 15 and even though I know God loves me sometimes it does feel like He doesn’t see me or like He forgot about me. After watching every one of these videos for a few years, I’m still blown away how many people just make stuff up as they go. At least when I was more “new age”, I was seeking truth. People looking for truth instead of comfortable thoughts is very rare
Without knowing the statistics, I am a little concerned that these videos give the wrong impression, due to filtering. People who are seeking truth, as you say, will have already considered these sorts of things, so I doubt the discussions would be as interesting, and thereby the interviews would be less likely to be posted.

@@charnellebouwer3774 The surgery went very well and was fully successful. The first night was rough, but after the nausea went away he’s been much better. It was with with his right shoulder tendons all being torn and reattached (supruspinatus, subscapularis, and infraspinatus) and now he can’t do very much with only the one arm, so it going to be a long and difficult recovery process but it went as best it could have, and we know we can overcome any obstacle with Christ who gives us strength. I have read a current study that said, suicide went up or soared when my space and all social media came upon us. Teens want what they interpret as THE norm. Looks, money. Color of their skin. This breaks down their Self image. Absolutely terrible. Last week watching this program slot of 25 and under ALL admitted SUICIDE thoughts. That's when I researched it
Is it any wonder when preachers such as Ray present life as nothing but a losing battle against their normal activities and thoughts. Young , impressionable people lectured by a person in 'authority' about how they might die any moment and go to hell. Of course when they fail to live up to the almost impossible demands of 'God', with the constant threats of hell, people are likely to contemplate suicide.
I’m afraid I just don’t agree. The vast majority of people who contemplate suicide do not know God, and walking past street preachers occasionally is not why they are suicidal. A relationship with Jesus totally changes that mindset and makes life fully worth living while also removing the fear of death 🙏
@@2threlkeld And yet I spent several hours talking down a young man from suicide because he felt he could not keep to gods standards. He had been preached to by some well meaning pastor to the extent that he tried to cut his wrists. Luckily for him we got him proper medical assistance so that he could resume his life. I would agree that there are many reasons that people attempt suicide, I have come across three occasions where 'religious zeal' was a factor, so maybe I am not so blasé as you . As for fear of Death , listen to Rays spiel, he concentrates on Hell, Damnation and the fear of dying, whilst setting impossible standards that Ray himself admits that he cannot keep to.

These girls are just so lovely! When Ray offered the " You're Not Alone" booklet to the one girl and you saw the emotion just well up in her it made me want to just hug her! I pray that the seed Ray sowed will take root in their hearts💕

I've watched several of these videos now and I'm amazed at how many peoples' eyes instantly brighten when you get to the Jesus part. It's wonderful to see that.
If hell is a forever thing and it’s harsh to be there, then don’t sin. That’s simple. Many hate the fact that there is hell because they love sin, it’s part of our sinful nature. But when they come to the realization of truth, they embrace the fact that they should be Holy and righteous

It should never be a terrifying thing to fall into your father’s hands no matter your position with him. A child shouldn’t have to fear that their loving father would let them be tormented for all eternity. If I treated my own children that way I’d be thrown into jail or a mental ward
The girl on the right is so beautiful to me.. She was actually right about faith . That’s actually where it all starts. All of these ladies are beautiful inside & out. They were all open to the Love of Jesus Christ. There’s nothing like it!! I was really blessed by this and these girls will forever be in my heart..
She was right, I wish Ray would have asked her more about faith instead of saying no. But Ray did a great job here otherwise explaining the gospel, at least the penal substitution part of it, which is very important.
Your work is appreciated Mr. Comfort. I also enjoyed listening to your debates with Mr. Dillahunty. When talking with people, it's always good to illustrate situations and then bring it back in contexts in which, deep down, they understand the key principles and think about what is said and be able to apply it.

Can you please pray for my friend Haley? She suffers from deep depression and has told me recently she wants to end her life and that she doesn’t think she’ll be alive much longer. Her family is Catholic but she isn’t anymore. She seems interested in Jesus and even asked if we could do a Bible study together when I brought it up but she canceled last minute. I’m really scared for her and her parents think she’s doing this for attention. She is also sick with Covid-19 right now so I can’t see her in person to support her as she can’t leave her room. People who are seeking truth, as you say, will have already considered these sorts of things, so I doubt the discussions would be as interesting, and thereby the interviews would be less likely to be posted.

@@charnellebouwer3774 The surgery went very well and was fully successful. The first night was rough, but after the nausea went away he’s been much better. It was with with his right shoulder tendons all being torn and reattached (supruspinatus, subscapularis, and infraspinatus) and now he can’t do very much with only the one arm, so it going to be a long and difficult recovery process but it went as best it could have, and we know we can overcome any obstacle with Christ who gives us strength. im genuinely surprised by how popular suicidal thoughts are.
I have read a current study that said, suicide went up or soared when my space and all social media came upon us. Teens want what they interpret as THE norm. Looks, money. Color of their skin. This breaks down their Self image. Absolutely terrible. Last week watching this program slot of 25 and under ALL admitted SUICIDE thoughts. That's when I researched it
Is it any wonder when preachers such as Ray present life as nothing but a losing battle against their normal activities and thoughts. Young , impressionable people lectured by a person in 'authority' about how they might die any moment and go to hell. Of course when they fail to live up to the almost impossible demands of 'God', with the constant threats of hell, people are likely to contemplate suicide.
I was having serious suicidal thoughts a month ago but Christ saved me! Praise Him!
I’m afraid I just don’t agree. The vast majority of people who contemplate suicide do not know God, and walking past street preachers occasionally is not why they are suicidal. A relationship with Jesus totally changes that mindset and makes life fully worth living while also removing the fear of death 🙏
@@2threlkeld And yet I spent several hours talking down a young man from suicide because he felt he could not keep to gods standards. He had been preached to by some well meaning pastor to the extent that he tried to cut his wrists. Luckily for him we got him proper medical assistance so that he could resume his life.
I would agree that there are many reasons that people attempt suicide, I have come across three occasions where 'religious zeal' was a factor, so maybe I am not so blasé as you .
As for fear of Death , listen to Rays spiel, he concentrates on Hell, Damnation and the fear of dying, whilst setting impossible standards that Ray himself admits that he cannot keep to.

They were all open to the Love of Jesus Christ. There’s nothing like it!! I was really blessed by this and these girls will forever be in my heart..
She was right, I wish Ray would have asked her more about faith instead of saying no. But Ray did a great job here otherwise explaining the gospel, at least the penal substitution part of it, which is very important.
