Absolutely bonkers gameplay.
Purposely procrastinating the boss in order to farm more XP makes way too much sense, but I almost never am confident enough in my build to try it out.

It's a lot easier to do in the first 1-3 stages. later ones the smaller guys just pretty much take the dwarf down. Also hard to have decent damage with few weapons and it's mostly needed to reach level 60+

yeah, easiest would be to try to delay killing elites to get more exp from other spawns

I have tried to make the sludge pump good late game and the damage always disappoints. How do you make yours have 400+ damage and 60 damage dots? Mine does like 190 damage on hit and 20 dots.

Getting 2nd acid weapon helps since you can buy acid damage - the drone one very good.. but I am staying longer on floor and trying to kill mobs and then pick reload / damage for that weapon
