YouTube’s Best $ Vs. $$$$ XLR Cable Comparison

Here are 5 samples of 5 different microphone cables ranging in price from less than $1/ft to over $10/ft. Each sample is EXACTLY the same clip, which was revamped through each different cable to ensure the only difference in each clip is the cable.
There will be a part 2 on this topic, and it will give more samples and further testing of each cable. Lots and lots and lots of interesting things discovered as I made this test.

Just make music, I always try to impress that upon younger clients that gear is fun but it doesn't make good songs and interesting music. I always like to tell people that I mastered a weezer track (their cover of a green day song) on event monitors, with a tascam digital board as interface, using one plugin (t-racks) in 2003 in a small barely/shoddily treated guest house.
