The best way to "manage your emotions" is to do them preemptively. For example, don't associate yourself with people who bring out the worst in your or put yourself in situations that bring out the worst in you. I think this situation is alot harder to get your ex back because your ex will always put their friends first and if they go against their advice then potentially they lose that friend which makes me think they are not a true friend.

Hello Steven and Adrian. I know this video is a little old, but i'm in dire need of help. My ex and i broke up because she felt like non of us were focusing on the relationship as much as we used to before and we needed some time apart, but we still talked everyday and hung out. Months later we started talking less and less and now we just talk a couple times a week maybe. Thing is she told me shes "seeing someone" and i was still hoping i would get back with her if i gave her the space she needed. let me tell you guys this.. you can come back from doing the wrong thing and being the thorniest rose. i was that in the beginning and he started seeing me in a better light and falling again and then i turned thorny. it took 2 months but now i’m in a better place and i’m the reddest rose and he’s back. still w the same girl but he just told me today his true feelings and i can see us getting back together in a few months if i just continue working on me and loving me. remember that.. everytime you mess up, you take yourself 2 months back. it’s not worth it. grow and move on and pop back in and out. and it’s not about winning them back, it’s about growing and learning from mistakes. when you become ok with the idea of being friends, that’s when you know you can easily get them back because you stopped chasing them.
Could you do a video on why an ex reaches out to your friends? I had an ex cheat on me and it got me down for awhile, but I ended up picking myself up and doing a transformation from my old self. Got a new hairstyle, wardrobe, will graduate college in December, and started going back to the gym. I definitely wouldn't doubt that. I just found it odd that all of this happened through mutual friends. It started after she saw me for the first time after I made some changes in my life. Within two weeks she asked 4 mutual friends to hang out while I was there and talked about me, but ended it with "I'm 100% over him anyway." She also thought I lied and refused to believe it when she was told that I was talking to other girls and meeting new people. I just don't want to get blindsided by anything as I tend to feel guilty pretty easily, so the advice above definitely helps! Just thought it was a bit odd and wanted to get some opinions on it. Finally he wanted me back in his life but he was in a relationship with someone and that girl is living outside for 6 to 8 months even though he broke up with her but he doesn't want to leave her all alone because she doesn't have her family and friends there because she is studying. What to do if you know he's dating someone. And so far he has been tztymał my furniture and things at home. Until today, he told me to take everything to move on. And now we have a fight for every piece of furniture. I don't want to fight. But he forced it on me.

My ex has been in a relationship for 7 months now. I haven’t contacted or seen them in over 7 months. I still love them a lot and I’d always hope we’d be together. Coaches, what do you suggest I do? Does it make sense to contact again, what are your thoughts.

Ok love advice what would you say about this like I said before I text my ex and she was responding to every single one of my text except the one where I said look sorry to bother you but I would just like to talk a little more after that she didn't say anything and I turn my phone off and had it off every since I just don't want to turn the phone back on and check it and see where she has never contacted me so now I have been in 40 days of no contact hopefully she'll contact me again and I don't know if she will because I'm thinking she's with another guy because all my recent searches on Facebook I really couldn't tell but it looks like there was two faces in her profile picture and there was a heart beside her name
