One of the tactics of this kind of abuser is to utterly exhaust the other until they just give in. They consistently interrupt and prevent others from speaking to the point that people feel a horrible sinking feeling in their chest and get to a point where they will even apologise to the abuser just to make it stop.
Ari Fisher I lived this with my mother for 40 years. I gracefully put her in a home and distance myself from her. My mother was bipolar/narcissistic. I was grateful that my father did not do what this father is doing. My father was on my side and they eventually had to live apart but he helped me financially take care of her. Watching this brings back all of those feelings I had as a young child until I knew how to deal with her from a distance. I still have PTSD from it as well as a relationship with a narcissist.
