What's more is that Finland's inclusion into NATO has massively increased the border length that NATO directly shares with Russia and possible military avenues in the case of war. Don't forget that Russia has been demanding for decades that NATO stop its eastwards expansion as it directly threatens their influence over previously non-NATO countries.

Truth is, sending them to Ukraine SAVES the US taxpayer close to $5,000 per shell.
There's between 5 & 7 million of them, so gifting them to Ukraine would save US taxpayers $20-30bn minimum...

@@beth7935 That was before the US$ became the international currency for trade. That development is what puts the US in the position of senior world policeman (along with junior allies). It essentially protects its own investment in trade with the rest of the world. If a US president renegs on that role, then US trade worldwide will suffer and the US economy will be affected accordingly. MAGA jobs will disappear. If we help Ukraine defeat Russia, the war ends. If the war ends because we stop supporting Ukraine, Ukraine ends. Why is that acceptable?

The more they use nuclear threats the more I feel like they probably don't actually have them, or not many that work.
@@ZhovtoBlakytniy the only ones really working a bit are submarine ones, rest russian nukes are flop, there were nuclear trainings in russia some time ago, and they had to be cancelled due to failures. I wouldn;t be surprised if muscowite corrupt army sold parts of nukes or their launching equipment many years ago :D

We all know that in USA money talks but who'd have thought it could corrupt your legal and political practices so profoundly. Can you suggest on air that USA should scrap their old stocks of shells, rockets, glsdb etc to Ukraine at zero cost. This would leave the USA to decide and fund for their own stocks of new weapons as a seperate issue from Ukraine.
This would negate the need for funding approval to assist Ukraine and could be done now, without delay!

Seizing Ukraine doesn’t get NATO off its borders. In fact it has exactly the opposite effect. The further west Russia goes, the deeper it finds itself in NATO territory. Moreover, with Putin’s logic, the only way to prevent NATO from being at your borders, is to gobble up Europe all the way to Ireland; not to mention Finland and Sweden joining NATO as direct consequence of the war (sorry, the Special Military Operation).
Dictator Putin wants Ukraine to be the "buffer zone".
Putin is not a critical thinker.
It was never about nato, it was and is about europe.

The US, UK and Canada has troops in Ukraine training Ukrainian troops from 2015 to 2022 right up to day or two before Russia started the full evasion. They only paused the training briefly and continued to train the Ukrainian troops in European countries.

US troops lead NATO Enhanced Forward Presence multinational battle group in Poland. UK leads here in Estonia. Canada leads in Latvia, and France in Lithuania. We have Swedish and Finnish troops coming to Estonia soon also.
