People can hate on Jeff all they want for not filling LeRoi's place but that dude can play! Never saw LeRoi but Jeff kills it imo
Roi was great on the slow soprano stuff. But Jeff is miles better on everything else. This song is just one example.
@@chriswhite8450I totally disagree. Different playing styles though. Roi seemed more soulful to me while Jeff has a more manic avant garde style
@@ge0theory I know where you're coming from and I like Roi's style better on some stuff. But Roi was never great on extended, faster solos because he didn't have the technical chops on the instrument. Jeff does.
As I was listening to this I kept thinking where have I heard this before? What CD is this from? When it was over I looked at the location and realized I was there this summer.
