    Thank you for your videos. Don't blame yourself on the peeling, there is sizing on the shirts that the manufacturer put on and chances are if it is peeling it is due to the prepress.

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  Před 4 lety +1

      Sublimation is best because it is dyed directly into the fabric where as the inkjet and laser transfers both sit on top of the shirts.

    Thank you so much for your video. I am curious if a technique I've used for years works from your observation. I've always turned t-shirts inside out and then washed them in cold water then dried them inside out. It seems like it helps extend the life of the image to me. But I want to know your opinion and if you've noticed that to work better too. I so appreciate how much you share. I am wanting to get into this business and it helps a lot to see your practical, step-by-step information.

    • @TshirtChick

      The inkjet transfers for darks will eventually wash out I don't like to use them for my customers but some of them insist on it for stuff like RIP shirts. Jetpro softstreatch is good for light colors and if applied correctly and stretched right after it's pressed it will last the life of the shirt.

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  Před 4 lety +1

      All transfer paper will eventually wash out unless you are using jetpro softstretch which is only for white and light colored shirts. I have used the Jet Opaque and it's ok for dark colors but it will eventually wash out. You can slow the process down by washing on gentle and hanging dry instead of putting in the dryer. Do not use fabric softener in the wash per the manufacturers instructions. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

      Hi Sarah. Not sure. I washed on normal cycle along with my other clothes and had a decent result back then. Ink jet transfer paper will eventually wear out and like many things the quality has probably went down since the time that I filmed this video.
