Murderers' Row is a 1966 American comedy spy-fi film starring Dean Martin as Matt Helm. It is the second of four films in the Matt Helm series, and is very loosely based upon the 1962 spy novel Murderers' Row by Donald Hamilton.
Ann-Margret and Karl Malden co-star in this sequel to The Silencers.

Schifrin at his best here - he came up with some superb themes for film and TV. This has to be one of the best.

Super cool Lalo! Excellent Japanese poster design although it looks like Ann's head might have been photo shopped?? Poor Ann 😊

It's strange how Columbia acquired the rights to the Matt Helm character and never stayed with the text. On the shortlived TV series he was a private detective instead of a spy (although more serious and less lecherous than Dean Martin's take).

I think at that time the studios just wanted to easily garner the box office success of the Bond movies so Matt Helm, Derek Flint, Charles Vine all followed the same formula. I remember the Tony Franciosa Helm tv series. I recall only in the 1st episode was their a brief mention of Helm's spy background.

Great theme song but looking back, not as great a film as I remembered from when I was a young kid,
