    I added the Icarus grip and heated up a kydex holster to make it work, then found this video, ordered one of your holsters, and it came in super fast. It said there was a 10 business day lead time, and it showed up in about 3 days after order.
    I love the details in the holster. I wore it about the house a little and it’s great. But I had to go back to my old holster as you shipped so fast my light hasn’t come in yet. So my gun won’t lock into your holster just yet.
    I do see the difference in your holster vs the competition and I’ll be buying more from you. I’m sure not many know where potlatch is let alone been there, but I’m glad to support a small town Idaho business.

    I just priced these modules - man, they have P365 owners running around in circles chasing every shinny object they can come up with. I went through that phase and ended up with a 365 Spectre Comp and Romeo Elite - I'm done with all the upgrades. I ended up with a P365 pimped out to the max and realized that only FCU was made by SIG when I was done. That's when I knew I had gotten caught up in the shiny object chase. The Spectre Comp is all you need to have the sh-- if you know what I mean. Love your videos by the way - thanks.

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Před 2 lety +1

      The biggest difference is that there is no "rail key" on the lights made for the P365 rail. That is because the P365 rail has no provision for a key. This means that all of the light's forward / rearward motion is limited only by the end of the rail on the P365. It's not the greatest design, as some have reported the light working its way off the end of the pistol by distorting or working away at the polymer at the front of the Sig P365 rail. Hope that helps.

    Think it’s worth the 365x for reduced length for edc over the dl? I’m 6’2 and about 210. Think that .5 inch would make a noticeable difference?

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Před 2 lety +1

      In my opinion, length is not much of an issue. In fact, for some people, extra length means there is more pistol below the beltline, which helps lever the grip of the pistol into the body more. I've personally seen micro pistols that barely extend below the belt, and that causes the pistol to want to push away from the body, resulting in uncomfortable carry. Cole (6-02) carries the P365x with a comp quite well. Of course, this is all based upon the ways we carry, and our body / build type, so your mileage may vary.

      @@WerkzHolsters In some of the older X300s (looks like pre-mid 2021) there was a plastic piece on the end of the X300 that was held in by a couple of pins that could be popped off and allowed the plastic piece to be removed. SF seems to have changed that so depending on when you bought X300, it may not have it, but apparently it was how people got the X300s to properly fit on some Sig models.
      I hate to tell people to Google something, but if you Google "Sig X300 fitment plastic spacer" you'll find a much better description with pictures detailing this spacer. Basically my question is if this spacer was removed (assuming you have one of those doors), which would give the X300 a little more mils of travel before contact with the 365 frame, if the light might fit.

      Nothing planned at this time. I would recommend stepping up from the TLR-6 to the TLR-7Sub. It's a much better light in many ways.

      I think you would need to talk with Icarus about that.

    Where can I buy that key #5 for that tlr7 sub streamlight?

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Před 2 lety +2

      The TLR-7 Sub 1913 comes with the keys. No need to buy anything more. Be aware that Streamlight has 3 "Subs": P365, G43x, and 1913. You need the P365 version for the stock Sig grip module, and the 1913 for the Icarus grip module.

    Black gun, black lights, black table, black shirt, black background, dark setting. Would be easier to see without all the black.

    Can a XL slide fit on that frame

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Před 2 lety

      I think Icarus is the best one to answer that question, but we do have a pistol with the longer frame running the shorter slide + a comp. And we've done the slide swaps on the P365 / P365XL and that worked, so I suspect it works just fine.

    • @WerkzHolsters
      @WerkzHolsters  Před 2 lety

      There are two options for rail lengths with Icarus, and this video (and description) covers both. Hope that helps!

      Particularly with the Icarus, the checkering is awesome. Aggressive without chafing. The gas pedal part of it works wonders to manage recoil as well. Your hands kind of just.. become the firearm, for a lack of better words. You get a nice grip and everything feels natural. They put grooves where it really matters. Hard to say if it's worth the cost for the general shooter. For me, worth every penny. I get more consistent draws with it as well as a really good grip. With these types of handguns, finding the right one that is ergonomic to YOUR hand is key for me. Reliability and ergonomics are my top priority.
