First couple games were rough for Prisma, good that he's finally learned how to play these. Rest of this series should be good now.

Imo castles should be adjusted to 5 range so they can defend themselves from mangonels with bodkin
That's similar to a thought i had which was to give all ranged units 1 less range
Yeah the TC/tower/castle nerf is just too much in these. If you're going to massively change buildings it isn't really regular AoE on tiny maps then is it?
@@HeXetic watch the early tiny map game videos. They were 100% tower wars and if you got a castle then it ranged basically the whole map. They weren't very fun or interesting.

I'd like to see a "small maps" with towers entirely disabled, since it seems like even after the "nerf", there's still tons of tower spam.

Thanks to the players in this one for hanging on and not resigning so quickly like in some of these games. I hate watching games where players resign super early

5:33 I’m only here, and I think the shorter range on towers is great… but I am a little sick of still seeing only towers.
It’s pretty unimaginative and I don’t think even the strongest strat here.
Finally some military, I hope this means they changed their ideas and the rest of the series won’t be all towered

Every time I watch this series, I think about cuman Feudal rushing. What's a tower versus a ram?
You need very much Wood for this since you need a blacksmith as well. A Market ist pretty much required in every Game too and with that you also need a Lot of space.
Feudal rams sounds good in theory but in Most Maps, i think it would be hard to execute
@@timoflo369 Really would be Map dependent. There was a game on black forest and thats when I started thinking about the Idea. The other note is its a second TC for Villager Rushing.
@@TheObservationTower more space and res would be needed. Even in a normal game on Arena its not really possible to play a good fast feudal, affort all the buildings + 2-3 rams and a 2nd TC AND be able to produce in both TCs. I tried it and even against a Bot it was impossible
@@timoflo369 Fair enough. Just trying to think outside the box on what "could" be a good strategy for these maps. See games get most buildings, siege would help if castle age wasn't an option.

this map should be slightly bigger - like 3-4 tiles on each of the 4 sides.
cuz getting all that you need to get castle looks near impossible. plus limited wood between you and your opponent.
so race seems to be EXTREMELY important here.
like the one that doesn't require houses.
or one that you can win at castle age with 0 trebs.
idk neither tried to tower rush or harass with it.
especially put a watch tower along your woodline then start building towers to push them off the main woodline.
forcing them into a tech they didn't want to go
while you go the tech you wanted as well as counter it since you know they HAVE to answer it.
anyway, how do i play on this map?
