I look at homes for a hobby. All I can say is they know what they are doing with design in Massachusetts! I had never thought of using the third floor so wisely. Beautiful home!
I love living in an area with so much rich history. This grand house is absolutely beautiful. I really enjoy visiting Newburyport, just a few miles from where I live in Newbury (Byfield)
My goodness, this is a stunning mansion, with great history 🌷

I grew up ONE street away and do not remember any house on Federal St. like that! No. Way. Boy, they've turned "home" into a huge museum! First 20 years of my life in Newburyport, and I can't afford to live there anymore.. Bring back the 60s! (As it is, my then church is someone's house now! - and on Federal St.)
I was born and raised there my whole family was from Newburyport the natives got pushed out the reason being the dollar signs came in everyone was selling out left the people that can only afford to rent if you your lucky to afford it on the streets looking alot of them resided to Salisbury Seabrook Hampton and so forth
The audio ruins it just play a song 👌🏽
How times have changed. In the description it says "In 1797 William Bartlet was Newburyports wealthiest resident when he built this mansion" (paraphrasing of course). In todays society just about anyone whos upper middle class can afford to buy this house. A stark contrast from the days of 1797, when William Bartlet was most likely considered to be a 1%'er in terms of wealth (the equivalent of being a multi-Billionaire by todays standards).
🙄
This house today would $3M. Do you have $3M? 😂
