- Here's Rupert Sheldrake, biologist and one of the leading figures in British spirituality, talking about why he's spiritual AND religious - why, despite being a psychedelic perennialist and explorer of alternative spirituality and fringe science, he's still a practicing Anglican Christian. We also talk about how, when people leave religions and become 'spiritual', they sometimes lose contact with community, and with traditional religions' emphasis on charity and good works. How can we stay grounded and connected to others? #spiritualbutnotreligious #spirituality #rupertsheldrake #newage

Rupert Sheldrake has had such an incredible life! And he's influenced mine so much.
Something I learned from this is that every faction: spiritual, religious, secular, need to improve and to learn from each other.
thank you both so much. Sheldrake's sincerity and knowledge shines through and through. I hope he realizes this.
Unity is the centre.
David B Hart is not a Perennialist nor does he like the label. How do I know? I asked him. He responded by saying that he does believe in the Prisca Theologia but that he thinks that the Perennialists (Schuon etc) created their own religion and then projected it into all other religions. Hart does believe in the Trinity and the incarnation and he affirms the Christian creeds
What a fantastic conversation this is - I would love to see more from you two speaking together! Thanks for this, Jules.
Pray for me, Dr Sheldrake.
Excellent first question
Ripple effect. I am my brothers teacher, yes IAM yes ma'am.
With great respect, Rupert is wrong about Judaism and Islam.
What in particular is he wrong about?
