You are sooooo right. I just passed a constable in a Tahoe on the way to work. His was so dark that it looked like he painted every window black all the way around the vehicle. It has never been about safety for everyone on the road. It is flat out hypocritical, tyrannical and repulsive to have tint laws that law enforcement does not obey but yet extort money from citizens that do the same. It's disgusting.
So could i tint my full windshield yellow or purple with a medical exemption for my poor eyesight and severe astigmatism, especially when hit with bright headlights.
So I don't believe the colors are accepted I do know that states allow full Windshield tint, and as long as the color is permitted I guess I don't see why not. But usually I think it's about 50% on fronts the doctors can prescribe. Has it always been 25% tint in the front window? And also i thought you can tint your whole windshield. 2yrs ago i tint my car and i remember reading it to be 35% in the front and 25% in the windshield. I did not put 25 in my windshield only 10 or 15% only but i tint the whole windshield. Now they wont pass my yearly car inspection without removing it.
So question..are your side windows tinted? & if so whats the percentage?..see i just moved to Texas & they shut me down before i can even walk in. 5 on the back window..15 on all 4 & 15 on front windshield. Will they keep turning me around even if i strip off the windshield tint?

@@brianmoore3063 - so I have 5% tint film over another 5% film that was already on the window. Its double dark. Then I had a 30 tint film on my windshield and then threw the 5 percent as well over that 30 lol. U just have a professional tint person double your tint.
@@brianmoore3063 - and also nobody ever tints outside the window bro. U layer the tint and cut it out on the outside to get the shape. Then u go back inside the vehicle and put it on.
In Texas, you can tint your back 3 windows as dark as you want.
Not 25% on all three windows? Doesn’t matter if it’s a sedan or SUV?
It’s not about safety it’s about extortion if it was really that unsafe emergency vehicles wouldn’t have the illegal precent
