This show is SO slept on! I was struggling to breathe, because I was laughing ridiculously hard throughout this episode. I honestly can't say what cracked me up the most. My Top 3 are definitely Karen dragging Gizelle's tragic fashions in the confessional; Candice, Gizelle, and Karen huddling together in fear as T'Challa dive-bombed Wendy; Lastly, the producers and their shady translations of T'Challa's chirping. Comedy gold.

I agree! How quickly people forget how nasty and disrespectful and shady Ashley has been in the past. Karma is real. And Ashley did not want to bring her baby. She did it because she had to. I think the thing that everyone seems to be missing is that Ashley was digging at Wendy and Wendy was responding, that was for both confrontations. Wendy is assertive not aggressive she says what she thinks to the person head on she’d doesn’t do it through a mediator, whereas Ashley is passive AGGRESSIVE and allows others to fight her battles. If we’re gonna call Wendy aggressive we need to have the same energy for Ashley.

Now, I feel that Wendy did a lot BUT she was definitely gas-lighted by Ashley. It is upsetting me because its like everyone forgets how nosey, ferocious, and reckless Ashley has been in previous seasons. What I think happened was Ashley probably called Monique and confided in her that Michael insisted that she bring the baby. With them being friends, Monique probably said okay. Monique probably didnt really think to ask Wendy because she figured Wendy's husband would take care of their baby (as most husbands would). But I do believe Monique should have at least extended Wendy the courtesy of giving her the choice to bring her baby or not. I completely understand how Wendy felt, I just dont think she expressed herself the best way and they werent trying to be empathetic to her feelings, which wasnt fair to her.
Was a lot of Wendy's energy over the top and misplaced? Yes.

29:11 Just wanted to add to this. it's not simply that Ashley arrived and Wendy felt some kind of way and then jump cut to Karen making a comment. More specifically: Ashley arrived. Robyn & Gizelle commented about baby Dean being there. Ashley said "you know I can't be away from my baby." Wendy interjects into the conversation. She gives Ashley the side eye and says "Ashley. Come on now." Then Robyn and Gizelle defend ashley with "come on Wendy, she's a new mom". That's when the back and forth between Wendy and the Bandits about who's a new mom happened. Ashley just stood there holding the baby. Then the editing takes us to Karen, Mo and Candiance being back in the kitchen. Wendy is sitting next to Karen and her face is frowning. She is obviously uncomfortable or upset. That's when Karen asks if seeing Dean makes her miss her baby. I don't think Karen's comment was messy. It sounded like she was addressing her facial expression and guiding her to a softer spin on what was going on. Instead of being pi$$ed, you just miss your baby. At any rate, Wendy replies with "It's a girls weekend." She is not talking TO Ashley, but Ashley is right there and she is being talked ABOUT. Ashley says "my husband has to go to work." to the Bandits; not Wendy. Wendy then talked around Karen and said "My husband has to go to work too but he spends times with our kids." From here on out, the gloves come off. Mind you, I am not an Ashley fan. I do not have memory loss about her foolery. But I can see this from her point of view. When you're the mama who has to bring your child to an adult function either because you had to, or because you're the nervous new mom, or because your husband is a manipulative azzhole like Michael, you feel awkward about it, but you're grateful the host was nice enough to accommodate you so that you're not left out. So, to walk through the door and have someone you barely know side eye you and question why you brought your child, it makes you feel bad because either you had to, or you're the lame nervous mom, or your husband is an azzhole. all that's under the surface and you're going to be defensive and Wendy had no place to comment on it to Ashley anyway. Wendy should have taken that up with Monique or production. Ashley didn't deserve all that. All she did was walk in the door.

I absolutely agree with this assessment of the Wendy/Ashely thing. IMO, Ashely threw them first jab when she said her husband owns his company. The FT comment was low too. I don’t think Wendy was being aggressive, that’s coded language because this dark skin, African woman isn’t backing down to this light skin, biracial woman.
The offer to bring babies should’ve been extended to both woman. At the end of the day, they both have brand new babies that it’s hard to be away from, especially when breast feeding. I also think postpartum may have played a role in all of this.
Ashley has a lot of nerve considering she didn’t want to bring Baby Dean. Michael needed that baby to be gone so he could run the streets.

Wendy saw through the bull reason Ashley was giving on why baby Dean was on the trip. Ashley could have just admitted Michael wasn’t going to watch the baby since it’s recorded instead of lying about why she bought the baby. Wendy doesn’t know Ashley so it comes across as her overreacting but Ashley overreacted as well. Wendy is the only professional on the series and have something to fall back on. All these other housewives besides Monique living pay check to pay check trust and believe that and everyone else who feels offended when she said call me Dr. Wendy is just jealous. Go get your PHD, so you can be called Dr, how dear people down grade her accomplishments. I have my master’s and I don’t use it with my work signature but others who choose to doesn’t bother me.

New mum means - Ashley has never done this before so she's more anxious than you may be because you've been through the 1st child, checking my baby is breathing every second shit. I don't think their hormones have stabilized since giving birth. Both their overreactions were natural.
I agree that the edit shows it as Ashley bringing up her husband (but who knows) but the mom-shaming has to go. I don’t expect more from Wendy because of her degrees but because she is a third time mother and she knows that it is not easy for a new mom (whether it was Ashley who didn’t want to leave the baby or Michael gas-lighting her about leaving the baby). Wendy was emotional when she saw Dean because she missed her little baby, which is understandable but I don’t agree with her attacking Ashley about this. She misunderstood the new mom argument. She is not a new mom (first time mom). When you are a new mom, you are still learning and not confident about your choices. Wendy is more experienced and more confident in her choices but I think people get that she missed her baby (and this is her first girl, so it is a different bond).
