Man i never noticed how good the casting actually is
This movie was ahead of its time.
Yet some might say, this movie was all but a dream
Why?
it's still ahead now
The train was like don’t mind me just passing through
Nice to see Tommy and Alfie get along that well.
I was totally caught off gaurded by this scene, the way it struck was so so so amazing!
I love how because hes in a dream, fischer isnt scared by the gun just being pulled on him, nor is he shocked, hes just annoyed by it,
But he doesn’t know he’s in a dream at this point
@@nnor1712 yeah but hes still in a dream causing that
@@gambit5667 What that doesn't make sense at all. If he knew he was in a dream, he wouldn't have bothered telling Cobb the combination code to save himself.
@@zoriiginalx7544 no, he doesnt KNOW hes in a dream, but bc its a dream hes less threatened, like when you experience really weird crap in a dream but dont find it weird until you wake up
@@gambit5667 Nah, this wasn't intended to be an indication that he knew or was acting like he was in a dream. You're reading too much into it,
Fun fact: The train is not cgi. It was actually a practical effect that was shot in downtown LA
Wow welcome to the Nolan Fan Base, is this the first time you’ve told people something they already know
@@matteobeach4261 tbh honest, I don’t think everyone knows that. Although some might already know.
@@provokedrobin608 Christopher Nolan had crashed a plane into a building for a movie and is attempting to recreate a nuclear explosion without CGI. I think it's safe to say people know the train isn't fake.
Either way does it look CGI to you?
@@J_C_CH well at first glance yeah
Rather than an effect, they put the shell of a locomotive on a truck.
When Crane and Bane share a ride.
Apparently the reason it's raining is cuz somebody didn't use the bathroom before going under.
yep
But that sence was CCCCRRRRAAAAZZZY
So the winter scene was somebody putting their hand in cold water?
It was because somebody took a sip of champagne before the sleep.
@ricksanchez3189 Yes and they said he should’ve used the toilet before
Dom and his crew being professional dreamers must be how they could get their dreams rather similar to the real world. My dreams are like Terry Gilliam's movies, with less coherence.
Ah, so “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” then, crossed with “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”
Not sure if this was intentional, but I think they are trying to show this is a dream with the inconsistent cinematography. Pistol running out of ammo after the first shot, inconsistent muzzle flash coming out of guns, broken car windows momentarily being unbroken, the lack of damage to the taxi when ramming into cars.
The fact that the train isn't on a track may be part of that too.
Nah, that’s just sloppy.
@@friedpicklezzz lmfao what a clown u are
The car windows being unbroken is just a continuity error
You're giving him way too much credit. These issues are present in most Nolan action scenes
Allie Solomons and Thomas Shelby share a cab (colorized, 2010)
lmfao
Bane and Scarecrow
Alfie Solomons & Thomas Shelby
Along with Robin and the fake Ra’s al Ghul
The train is a predecessor to the opening of the film if you notice the Tension is between the rain to distract the protagonist from his purpose simultaneously and reflects his aura to navigate the channels of psychology. The leader of the show is in a sophisticated loop that can only be stopped by his own self but it’s impossible yet it contradicts all his life. He is in a deep sleep but awakened at the same time. Fischer is not in a sleep he’s a magician that can sleep when the rain falls. He only sleeps when he hears is sisters voice. Also if you notice he keeps reversing every time he shoots his gun to tell you he is not sleeping. He is a clock. A clock of infinite log. That escapes when is a war. Lastly he is a monster that claim his daughter to kill all his enemies for fame and fortune. That is what this movie is about.
He’s like come on guys I got a train to catch. I need to go to los alamos to work on this project. I have no time for this.
Imagine how much better this scene would be if it had the gun sounds from Heat
More echo and reverb
I absolutely love this movie. The thing they should have emphasized was the need for the team to create extremely stable dream sequences, otherwise the dream would become nonsensical (like most normal dreams). I know they did mention and alude to it, but i think a lot of criticism came from people not understanding this.
"Kuchiyose no jutsu!"
Leonardo: "he summoning train?!" 😳
Wow that Train it’s unstoppable and is a runaway driving all over in New York 0:20
You can tell it's a dream because the Taxi was somehow able to absorb rifle rounds without the occupants being turned into Swiss Cheese.
the train said screw rails im a car now
This makes me want to take a legit locomotive and drive it down the street
Lol Leonardo DiCaprio is driving the same genesis i have
Ah yes, the ubiquitous bulletproof taxi
Did you know the train was NOT cgi? They actually got a real train on there and closed of downtown LA to shoot the scene.
Everybody knows the train isn't CGI dude
Bro the train was not real it was a truck under
@@MariaM-hp4wy i meant they got a real frame of a train engine and ran it through L.A.
If you watch the titfield thunderbolt there is a scene where these guys steal an engine and run it on the road. Which was just a prop mounted on a truck bed that they pushed along.
Someone tell me the name/history of that unit. looks to be a GP, could be wrong tho
Runaway train 1985 train coming though it did not wreck in the old movie it drove for years till it hit cars in a city :D
誰かにお任せ、流れに乗ってるだけで安穏時代は終わりを告げる象徴シーン?
Love the railroad train. Can't they jump through it?
So the real question is how did they get a real train to run through the streets of L.A. when there are no tracks for it to run on?
its a semi truck disguised as a train theres a BTS on it
@@sittingbush nah it's a real train
they used a tractor n used train exterior to cover it. the rest can be done with light materials
That train is WAY too small
The polar express be like
The train number is the same number on yellow taxi but reverse. What this mean I don't know lol
Also who downloaded the train on road mod?
That train was from Cobb and Mal's memories?
HOW I CAN STOP 0:21
0:20 train
Train in the middle of a road? Yep, it's possible in dreams & in the USA!
(Tue 13 Apr 2021 16h05)
Actually, trains being in the middle of the road is a real thing. There are towns and cities that literally have tracks in the middle of streets in "downtown business districts." This is known as "street running." Just a fun fact.
@@christophercarey3232 'Street running'! ~ Interesting!!
Thank you.
