This being my first GoPro gimbal, I was not sure what to expect. My requirements was for a water resistant and wearable. It works very well and has made a huge difference to the quality of video
Mounted my GoPro and with the gimble and it is a match made in heaven. My video is coming out super smooth now and I love how this gimble unlike many others on the market is water resistant. Now I don't have to worry as much about the gimble getting messed up by wet conditions since the Gopro is already water resistant as well. Highly
Great video. Even for 2022 still great product. Does this gimbals (G6 or WG2X) have a manual positioning feature? It's when you correct position of gimbal simply by hand and it will stay in that position. Thanks!
Thanks for your gimbal reviews! I've tried it with GoPro hero 4 and I got shaky footage. I think Feiyu tech gimbals designed to work with combination of cameras IS. . Had the same experience with FeiyuTech G5GS . Correct me if I am wrong!.
I found I achieved better results by turning HyperSmooth off - Hypersmooth is way too aggressive for panning shots, which you may want when using a gimbal. Hence I found it best to allow the gimbal to do its thing without worrying about Hypersmooth trying to grab the frame when panning.
Excellent video. I haven't been able to found the car window suction mount you used for that setup. It seems to be a lot sturdier than most. The car window mounting setup is exactly what I have in mind for the wg2x and RX0 ii with the adapter.
Very nice gimbal and excellent product to use it wirelessly on wifi. Excellent for extra B-roll for weddings and events as a event photographer capturing video footage or a filmmaker
I have been really happy with my WG2x. I even crashed my mountain bike while using it mounted on my chest and despite landing on the gimbal and camera, it survived and still works perfectly.
I've never thought about using a gimbal with my Hero 7 Black. But this video is interesting. It could be useful for other models of the GoPro or if you want super smooth footage.

I bought this gimbal and returned it for the older WG2 because the X doesn’t work with the Feiyu Tech wireless remote (only the app) and I need the wireless remote to control the gimbal on my cable-cam system, I’m already using the GoPro app on my phone to control the camera. I really hope that Feiyu Tech starts making more dedicated wireless remotes especial for users like me, there are going to be a lot of us soon.
Ok, I just watched Gordon Laing’s review, G90 looks to be a slightly improved G85. 1080 p @ 120 FPS but no sound and I believe a headphone jack. Otherwise about the same
According to the specs, there is a lot of improvements. New sensor alone makes a big difference. There is also new AF system, USB charging, V-Log and so on.
The feiyu stabilizer is a miracle, and it doesn't shake when it runs! The children went to the ski record is particularly good, very good, feel that the purchase is very valuable!

Is this gimbal work at wind speed of 150kmph ? I ride on my bike at max speed of 150kmph and I mount my gopro on top of my helmet. So will it provide same quality of stabilization at 150kmph ?
After watching your review, I bought it from Amazon for use with the Gopro Hero 7 Black on my hike to Machu Pichu: see timelapse here: czcams.com/video/plWIEfmdd_I/video.html the reason I bought it was that the Hypersmooth didn't keep the horizon level at all in my testing. This gimbal did.

if you plan to do some action sports you will realize there is big difference in gimbla shots and hero7 IS shots. Mine Hero4+gimbal shots are much better on Mountainbike than mine Hero 7 shots. Definitelly going to buy gimbal for Hero7 too.

Good video but TBH not much different with or without gimbal. But it's good to use it at night as GP stabilizer sucks in low light

I've never thought about using a gimbal with my Hero 7 Black. But this video is interesting. It could be useful for other models of the GoPro or if you want super smooth footage.
It is definitely useful for older GoPros but it also helps with Hero 7.

I don't have any issues with that, connectivity works the same as with Hero 6.

Fast side to side movement does it inflicts a roll motion of the horizon? The wg2 does not keep it's horizon level with fast side to side movent.

Yes, it works well on the G6, but there is no 1/4 inch mount for mounting the mic on WG2X.

It's quite light.
It makes a lot of noise, that is picked up by the GoPro. Thus, you need to use a separate soundtrack. Wish it was a silent gimbal.

Osmo Pocket is great device, I really like to use, although it has some difficulties with stabilizing steps.
