I've been sleeping to this video every night for months. I think I've only seen the first rug before I pass out. Occasionally, I'll wake up & watch one in the middle- but I don't last long! I put these long form videos on when I'm grading papers. There is white noise in the background and when I get sick of reading I can watch the rugs for a bit. It seems to keep me more focused than music. Not sure what that's about, but you got me to finals week and I am very grateful. Thank you! (do you think that you could write where the rugs come from when they come up? Found in barn. Flood damage. Smoker's attic. Chicken coop. That sort of thing? It's not necessary, but I spend too much time speculating and making up stories)
Oh my gosh yes! I love watching these to focus as opposed to music. The only reason I get off task when listening to music is because I day dream about being in the music video and I dance and sing and eventually find my way onto the wrong train of thought.

I really don’t understand how so many rugs get so dirty, but I am so thankful for these relaxing videos, the more detailed the rug is the more relaxing it is for me to watch get cleaned and revealed.

For me it's always the drone of either Dirty Reynolds or R2. The noise of a dryer does the same. I usually watch the videos at least twice as I always miss parts the first time :)

I have never, ever found an ASMR video that actually put me to sleep, until this one. Between the power washer and the machine that spins in circles to scrub in the shampoo, I dozed off two separate times to this video. Wasn't even that tired when I started watching.

He rescues dogs from the streets of Serbia and grooms them for free so they can get adopted. He only grooms HEAVILY matted dogs now.

I don’t understand how it’s possible to smear the carpet like that, but at the same time, it was not rotten, not trampled, not chewed by rodents, not stained with substances that cannot be washed off. I think they smear them themselves, so that they can then wash them and put them here. I don't see any other explanation.

yeah, most of the time these channels dirty the carpets themselves. no way they have this steady of a supply of filthy carpets
If I had to guess I would say these come from dumps or abandoned places where buildings are open to the elements.
