What I love about So Hyang is, she sing for God not for fame. She was a cancer survivor and always not in good health. There was an interview which her father in law express his worry about So Hyang's health.
Her voice touches my soul. You should check to her other performances in Immortal Songs. Lean On Me, Everyone (her best performance in my opinion), Bridge Over Troubled Water and You Raise Me Up (2018). She also involved on arrangement.

2. Lean on me: This song was performed in front of Michael Bolton. After the performance, Michael Bolton said. Sohyang is on the level of a master. Sohyang said her wish is to do a duet with Michael Bolton here. Later, Michael Bolton invited Sohyang to his concert and performed a duet together. I like what you said about her making you feel better after a bad day. This song in particular would make you have that effect. This is my favourite vocal performance of hers, because I find she does so many things that you wouldn't expecting it. You're right, she goes from a very thin tiny sounding voice to very belty, and powerful and full. Sounding almost like a different person by the end.

You owe it to yourself to check out her version of 'Never Enough' that she created for the virtual opening of the 2020 Olympics. I use the term "version" purposefully, because this is so much more than a cover. She re-arranged it and added a little surprise that is portrayed in the video impressively.
It's always fun to watch a coach react to So Hyang for the first time and comment how her voice is so light and sweet only to get facemelted with a mixed Bb5 a few seconds later! As a follow up, rather than another of the Immortal Songs vids would suggest one of her recent performance of I Will Always Love You which is a much simpler arrangement musically than this one but has some really cool stuff vocally.

@BrunO De MarchiS Lol just cus you don't enjoy her high belts doesn't mean she's not talented. That's not her only virtue though. She is a vocal master. I am a singer and I have been trained and understand how advanced she is. But don't take it from me. There are other vocal teachers and coaches who would agree that she's very talented.
@BrunO De MarchiS Yes, it's just having your larynx in its natural position when singing. It's better to keep it that way when singing. Obviously, higher notes require you to raise the larynx more but it's known to be more detrimental for the voice to sing with a higher larynx a lot.

So hyang one of my favorite female vocalists. Her performance of “ everyone” is beyond amazing. But I have a request that you react to her closest and best friend, “Park Ki Young”, I like Park Ki Young because they have about the same vocal range but Park Ki Young is a tad more versatile and can belt them with equal emotional impact and power in rock, pop, soul, jazz flamenco, and classical ( opera). A few of my favorites that are worthy of reacting to: ( either privately or publicly)

But I’m a professional singer and my singing friends unanimously agree that both So Hyang and Park Ki Young are not only world class vocalists but equal in talent.
What I’m trying to say is I believe Park Ki Young deserves far more reactions and I promise you and your subscribers who love So Hyang ( and I am among them) that you won’t be disappointed listening to a Park Ki Young song. They are both about the same age ( early 40s but look amazing for their age!) and the closest and best of friends. “I dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls Park” ( 5:02). One of the rare ones performed by her in English and Sung the way it was intended to be sung; in opera style and NOT as a ballad as Anya’s popular version was renditioned in ( hauntingly beautiful but a total departure from its roots which was taken from an 1836 Operetta titled Bohemian Rapture.

Kim So Hyang surpasses Park Ki Young in technique. Kim is unbelievable. However I do enjoy listening to Park more than Kim. I am awed when I listen to Kim but I am moved when I listen to Park. They are both wonderful artists.
