When I was 12 I passed out randomly one morning, and my mom decided to call 911. Mind you, we lived in a small town, so word usually got around fast. I woke up like 10 minutes later, and when I woke up, I felt completely fine. My mom then comes up to me and says “the ambulance is on its way 😔” and I’m freaking out at this point. And then, I kid you not, 5 ambulances, 3 fire trucks, 3 cop cars, and a partridge in a pear tree show up and at this point I’m panicking because I’m completely fine, and right then the cops came through the door with a stretcher and the EMTS started yelling orders at each other and I started screaming and apparently I caused such a scene that the cops interrogated me. After that, all of the neighbors called us, and the whole town knew about it 💀

Damn really???? I almost passed out once and my mom was like "it's just allergies you'll be fine" and it wasn't until my eyes were rolled back. Then she was like "ok IG you can stay home from school." Dropped off my brothers and when she came back, she was like "ok hold on" grabbed my grandpas diabetes things and checked my blood sugar. SHE DIDN'T EVEN TAKE ME TO URGENT CARE UNTIL LIKE 3 HOURS LATER!!!

Well if you passed out randomly your mom or other moms would definitely act like that since if it’s out of no where then you would have to check it out or your just dehydrated so I’m not really surprised that so many people came over to your house
As a phlebotomist the story of him fainting is so funny lol the nurse should’ve had him sit in a different location so she wouldn’t have to catch him while he fainted 😂 usually if we draw 10+ tubs we have the person lay down since they tend to get light headed. His blood pressure may have dropped as well which may have been why his blood stopped flowing. Also fainting happens to pts all time unfortunately. Glad he is ok though ❤

i fainted a few times as well, 2 times in the kitchen cooking lol, once on the middle of the road (luckily it was early in the morning so there was no cars while i was out), once on a escalator (luckily i fell forward so i didn’t fell off of it cuz that would be a long way down), once at school, once on the chair while chatting with someone and once on the street after getting groceries lol… once almost at the grocery store (only got a slow blackout). it’s probably my anemia or pain and stress or combination of all of that

Yeah... I have fainted like 4 times. , completely blacked out... 2 times from high fever and 2 times from dehydration. The latest one was last week and it's really scary

This also happened to me when I traveled 3 hours with the car to get my blood tests, barely slept or had food. The feeling of blacking out was so weird, it feels like your soul is leaving you and u slowly don't realize what's happening around you.
I would be terrified too, especially if he never fainted before.

I had someone come to the house to have blood drawn in 2019 (because I am a giant baby & thought it would help calm my anxiety about the process). Turns out that it was much worse than just going to the damn doctor! Sharing my story to remind everyone to do the obvious & research like crazy before scheduling…unlike me.
I thought I found a company that was reputable (with great reviews) but I was wrong. So the appointment starts off with me & my BF downloading their app & provide health history etc. They also provide easy payment options with said app, so you just add your card info & will be charged based on the tests you opt for.
By the next day they had taken $1400-$1600 from our accounts, yet the app showed no pending transactions (as the test results were not available yet). This was suppose to be a $400 (per person) appointment & we ended up with a stranger in our home, a stranger(s) running around with vials of our blood & personal information, & zero results regarding our health. Oh, & of course we paid for the scam on top of all that!
