  • All put back together.
No major damage to cabinet looks great.
Looks like it maybe running a Android core OS? Please comment.

Another fun classic; many hours logged on that game. Very cool Might have to see if my stock 2nd generation Nexus 7 still boots and check that screen; you might be right about that. I don't recall changing the shut down splash, did change boot.. that was back on jellybean I think..... Where is that Asteroids demo you teased about??? 😆

Have you checked the boot screen on your Nexus 7??
      Thanks Trav for the comment.

It's definitely an android system -- I remember other android devices having the exact same UI on shutdown

Yea that's what I thought I used to see that on my Nexus 7 tablet many years ago.
And since then I found out that NWT do indeed use a Android core to run there custom emulator
Very cool.... Thanks for the comment...

It does look like an android shutdown screen. Does that mean we can sideload? :D

I don't like the CRT look, I am also thinking of removing it. Also looks like from some photos Food Fight is going to have it. :(

Hi Mike, I agree the photos I have seen, sure looks like it will have the CRT lens.
If they are still making the monitor assembly the same, it should disassemble like the Missile Command did.
It would be nice if they would offer Food Fight with or without the CRT lens.
That's my next purchase is Food Fight, so stay tuned I will be removing the lens on that one as well.
Thank you for the comment ! And thank you for watching.
