Flooding in Short Ferry Lincolnshire

  • More than 1,500 acres of Lincolnshire farmland has been flooded in Short Ferry. A farm in the centre of the flood has been cut off and the only way the farmer can now get about is in a boat. Potato, sugar beet and maize crops have all been devastated.

    It would be appreciated if you could take more drone footage of this area as i hear the flooding is far worse than last time

      Last I heard we were allowed back onto our section but E block were still not. The water was half way up the caravan steps on some vans in E block. All the site lakes have been breached..

    Obviously I could be wrong Andy. But I think what they might? do is wait for the Witham to empty. Then, all that water will flow back through the breach, into the Witham and out to sea.
