2 tbsp aloe gel

Am I the only person who isn't a vegan, but still wants to try this?
me
Ur not the only one haha
I am not vegan but make this for myself, it is so refreshing and lovely on my skin. I use it daily as a face moisturiser
Me
Nope lol
I have tried this out and made a very small test batch. I am IN LOVE with this and in about a month of using it, my skin is much brighter, softer and I used to have a rash on my face which is now completely gone thanks to the soothing aloe vera gel! Now that it's all used up I will make it again as my skin is now closer to perfect than it's ever been! If anyone is looking for a quick and easy recipe on a perfect, light and smooth moisturizer, your search is over! I have tried to make a moisturizer infused with green tea, veeswax and heaps of melted oils and this is far better and doesn't make half as much mess! Thank you for this incredible recipe! I'm off to make the second batch!
*Beeswax
pls can u list the ingredient and procedure pls
Mellyss which aloevera gel did you use ?
Is the aloe vera natural or store brought?
I do like the idea of DIY beauty product recipes! I didn't know you could mix aloe gel and oil to get such a creamy consistency. I like that this product is so simple to make and has no harmful ingredients.
Li-San Loves It's a simple emulsion and in this case there is also no need for an emulsifier as the ingredients perfectly blend together. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed this video, I'll make sure to make more of them.
I love this cosmetics video idea! Please make more of these :) And I think they are very suitable for this channel, because they have recipes and many vegans who are subscribed are most likely interested in natural cosmetics as well :)
This is so awesome....most of the time I use pure coconut oil because my dogs lick my face and I worry about them consuming my face cream...but lately I have been breaking out so I will be so happy to start using this recipe....on my face.
Absolutely LOVE this recipe! I use it everyday as a non-greasy day cream and general moisturiser. I chose frankincense and myrrh essential oils as well as a few drops of rosehip seed oil for their anti-aging properties. I also add in a little extra sweet almond oil during the winter months for extra moisturising effect :)
Please tell which Aloe vera gel u used ready made or from plant I m waiting for ur reply?????
Made a double batch with grapeseed and argan oil along with myrrh, rosemary and grapefruit essential oils and it is FABULOUS! Very happy vegan here. Feels so good going on and being on my skin. My face says thank you!
The idea of making this type of videos is really good. Thank you.
+Carlos Roman Thank a lot! :)
Carlos Roman
Yes
Finally no shea butter needed!
Same gurl same
Nivea creme dont work I try it dont work 😒😖😞☹🙁
nivea creme not work for me 😖☹🙁
Yes but I still need to buy it😂
"Yes, we are actually going to use oils in this recipe, and there is NOTHING you can do about it."😂😂
So sassy! I love it. Probably because I usually give WAY too much of a shit about what people are thinking & am starting to feel like I need to get sassy sometimes.
THATS IT?! holy cream! i was expecting complicated ingredients and such. i stopped using any skincare for quite a while now due to the long list of unknown chemicals and animal testing. so dang. will def give this a go!! thanks so much guys!
I just made this! Used coconut oil, almond oil, bit of vitamin e oil and some tea tree oil, and aloe of course. Due to the melted coconut oil I had to put the cream in the fridge to make it a bit more solid, since it was really runny at first. Used it on my face right now and it feels really good! Will keep using it to see how it suits me over time! :)
Does it work ? And which aloe vera you use ? It from store or fresh ? And how long can we store it
YES! Natural products like this is definitely something I would love to watch on this channel!
Tracy Lyn Turner Thank you :) We'll surely share more in the future.
I tried making this as soon as I watched the video, but it didn't end up thick like yours did. I used coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Not sure if that was the reason or not, or if my Aloe gel is too old. I want to try making it again with new aloe
Also, that is fantastic that you're going to be sharing more :o)
Omg so quick and easy! I never knew aloe gel turns into a cream when you mix it with oil. 100% doing this.
simply.s Yes, it is quite funny how it creates an emulsion straight away as soon as you mix the ingredients. Thanks for watching
Is cosmetic grade aloe vera gel the same as normal aloe gel straight from the plant? Will fresh extracted aloe gel corrupt the cream or could it make an emulsion?
+Liv Tii yes, in fact, even better
No don't use the aloe gel straight from the plant or else the mixture will turn extremely runny. I have tried it myself. The aloe gel from the store has a polymer called carbomer which will let oil and water mix together. USE THE ALOE VERA GEL STRAIGHT FROM THE PLANT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Beautiful, thank you so much. And thank you for telling the shelf life of this cream, I've been wondering that for a while now before making my own batch and none of the videos on CZcams answers that!
After searching high and low for a face cream that seemed like it would be light and non greasy I was thrilled to find this one! Thank you!
One poster said this cream isn't rich enough for the face. Not everyone needs a rich face cream. I live in a very hot & humid climate, this is exactly what I want & need for a daytime application. Can't wait to try it!
Has anyone had the oil separate?
Thanks!
+Cammy 806 Yeah, many people like to share their opinions in a way that I don't really enjoy at all times, because what's good for your might not be good for someone else, and that doesn't make the product bad for everyone. Also, there is absolutely no way that the oil will separate, so don't worry about that! Make sure to stir vigorously whilst you make it and you'll see that the cream will remain emulsified. I hope this helps, thanks for watching and for your comment :)
I love it because I do not like chemicals I get allergic reaction from 99% of the lotions I buy . I will make this . Thank you
I use coconut oil and fresh aloe on my face every day..
how have I not thought of this?!
Seriously genius you guys never disappoint!
Just made my 1st batch of face and body cream and it is simply lovely. So easy to make and I don't have to worry about it being vegan! Thank you so much!
balderdashery G Thank you for watching and for letting us know that you made the cream! I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much
Love iiiit!! 😍 Soo easy and so quick to do, and my hands are so soft and smooth! Without getting sticky och gross. And smells lovely too! I used strawberry and a hint of lemongrass.
I'm gonna do this for my whole family for christmas, with different smells for each one of them 😊
Love to see more of this kind of videos. A thousand thumbs up! 😍
I make my own creams at home and I am always looking for new recipes and ways of doing things. LOVE this!
Thank God for this great skincare recipe! God is so good!
wouldn't be surprised if this tasted good too, according to the standards of your recipes!
plantbased judy I had to try it at least once...and it doesn't taste bad actually! Thanks for watching Judy ;)
plantbased judy Use it instead of mayo! Um, lavender flavored mayo . . . never mind. : )
This works! I made this the other day. But I noticed that when I left a small batch in room temperatuere, the oil separated from liquid the next day. So please make sure that you store this awesome cream in the fridge!
+Awesome place I'm sure that depends from the kind of aloe gel you used. I can assure you that the one we make never separates at room temperature. Anyway, I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the cream, and thanks for watching.
I really love this... i used a facial oil i bought wich is macadamia oil lavander and vitamin e plus the aloe gel...it works wonderes and is light and next time i will use extra virgin olive oil and almond since winter is coming
Hi, I wanted to ask did you use the aloe vera from a jar? Or straight from the leaf? I made mine from the gel I extracted from the leaf but it didn't quite made that consistency. Please reply! Thanks.
As the video said you need the bottle stuff as it has an emulsifier in it....leaf aloe wont work
The Vegan Corner sharing the secrets of nice food *and* nice skin? Yes, please!
Procyon B. That would be our idea, yes! :) Thanks for watching
Nice to see a recipe for a cream that does not require the use of a blender or an electric mixer, and I already have all of the ingredients.
Nikkynik112 I understand what you mean! We have many other recipes like this one to share and only a few of them require equipment to be prepared. Thanks for watching
Looking up for a cream recipe, got tired of bad videos, when was about to give up, I came across this one. Well done, thank you.
I'm so freaking happy I was this video! I'm allergic everything & now I might actually be able to have a body cream.
Hi! I just made this recipe... Used as my morning moisturizer... I like it!!! It is light weight... ❤️❤️❤️
I tried this and I must tell you...its fabulous!
I used coconut oil.
Thank you so much for letting us know :)
I make this and I use it every day. The difference it has made to my skin is unbelievable x
I think that cosmetic recipes enhance your channel beautifully! please continue! especially because I have very sensitive skin and try to use as less chemicals on my face (and in my body, thanks to your cooking-inspiration) as possible.
jakobervorhood Thank you :) I'm sure that you will find this cream to be incredibly gentle and on the skin, and if you want to make it even milder, remove the essential oils ;) Thanks for watching, I missed your comments!
OH! Thank you, you're so nice! Lately I was focused on changing my diet and was busy cooking your recipes :) so more comments in the future again.
jakobervorhood Great! I'm looking forward to read those comments my friend, and thanks for using our recipes once again ;)
Hello Vegan Corner! I am onto making my 2nd jar of vegan moisturizer after watching this video. My skin has responded well during the seasonal changes and considering the harsh scorching summer heat it has kept my complexion balanced. Thank you, thank you and please upload more vegan beauty videos.
I loved it, the idea of customizing my very own vegan cream is awesome, but please keep uploading food recipes also, they are incredibly helpful!
Sofia Carballo Nothing to be worried about; when we start a new series of videos, it doesn't mean that we will stop the previous one. Food is and will always be the most important part of this channel. Thanks for watching :)
I found your channel yesterday and I am adoring the formulas of your creams. I have in my house "aloe vera" known here in Brazil for "babosa" and do not know how to take advantage then this recipe is very useful for me. Many thanks for the posts.
Yes...this is awesome! I've never been on this channel before. I googled "natural vegan hand lotion recipe" and clicked video. You may be happy to know that this is the firs video that came up. :) More of this please. Thank you!
+Kelly D Actually, I am indeed very happy to hear that :) We'll make more recipes in the future for sure. Thank you for watching
Hit it out of the park first time out! Please thank Miriam for me, as I was having a conversation with someone yesterday about the problems with finding commercial hand and body lotions that are minimally processed and packaged, and vegan, and I was thinking how nice it would be if The Vegan Corner's new cosmetics series came up with a home made solution. Serendipity! Thanks for posting : )
tamcon72 Miriam said: "You're welcome" :) We are always happy to help in any possible way. Sure, homemade products with no preservatives may not last long, but honestly...who cares? they happen to be so easy to make that I can't see why we should be concerned with shelf life. Thanks for watching
Carlos this is fantastic so good to have simple recipes without a huge list of preservatives - thank you so much for making my life easier
Totally LOVE it! I have been making this recipe and works amazing for my most sensitive skin! Thanks so much!!!
wow! that is really a very ingenious way of preparing a natural and nourishing body creme.Looking forward to seeing more such 'recipes' on your channel.
This is an amazing recipe and it's so simple too. I'm really glad you made this video because I did not know how on earth I was going to be able to find affordable cosmetics like lotion, shampoo, and such. Thank you
+Khalia Bowles So glad to hear that you enjoyed it :) Thanks for following our work!
Dear Vegan Corner
I made my cream today and i can tell that's the first one from many, thank you very very much for the recipe! Bless you 😊❤️❤️❤️
What type of aloe Vera gel did you use?
@@simplyandoime7344 hm, it was a long time ago... But it said 99% aloe vera gel.. By some italian brand...
I didn't help you a lot.... I'm sorry :-/
@@nevabegovic2905 you did. I will look for a bottled aloe gel and read the ingredientlist
@@simplyandoime7344 ❤️❤️❤️
amazeballs!! never imagined one can make an emulsion out of oil and aloe gel.....just wow!!
Very nice recipe! So simple and easy. As I wrote you on instagram, I used to make my own cosmetics but they were a bit more complex and they needed a lot of time and attention that I don't have anymore, but this one can be done in few minutes and with so little ingredients that it would be very easy to make. Even so, if I can give you my humble opinion, maybe this cream is not rich enough to be used on the face. The facial skin needs a lot of nutritious and active ingredients so, maybe you could consider to add some vitamins of active ingredients to this base. Besides, for the body it looks very moisturizing. Said so, I'd like to tell you guys that you are amazing, your recipes are always so simple and yet, so delicious. Thank you for being so inspiring
Gioga76 I completely agree with you on that, and we would usually add at least some vitamin E to the preparation to make it more suitable to be used on the face. However we really wanted to share something super easy here and despite it might not be the most nourishing cream in the world, it is also not going to cause any issue to the skin due to the simplicity of the ingredients. Unless of course people are allergic to some of the ingredients. That being said, thank you very much for sharing your opinion with us, it means a lot! Thanks for watching
SImple and wonderful recipe. I will try fresh aloe vera gel from supermarket and store the cream mixture in the refrigerator. Acne-prone users should try using non to low comedogenic oils (e.g., hemp, argan, rosehip, etc.)
It was different and I throughly enjoyed it!!!!
Now body scrub, as I would us that more than creams!
Much love
💕
Michelle Lapierre No worries, body scrubs are very easy to make ;) Thanks for watching
I love it! I make my own infused whipped Shea butter. A good preservative is vitamin e.
Naima Dillard Thanks :) We also make whipped butters as well!
Great video!! So good that you've added this. I love all your amazing dishes that you make but having vegan facial creams is equally amazing! Thank you for taking the time to make and share this with us. It is undoubtably appreciated especially here in England :)
+Michael Masterson Well, I'm the one who should be thanking you for watching it, so thank you very much! :)
What a great video series! When I was in middle school, I used to make a lot of my own cosmetics, but, I have not done this in a while. This video may just inspire me to try making my own products again. I will let you know if I try it of course!
High Carb Vegan Recipes Thanks :) We have been thinking about this series for a while and it seems to be much appreciated. Thanks for watching
Love this recipe! My skin has been very dry and I love the idea of using something completely natural! Thanks for sharing. Love your humor by the way : )
***** I'm very sorry to hear that! I honestly hope that this cream will help your skin to get better. Thanks for watching and for your comment :)
Yes yes yes please continue making anything you want!!!! I'm always going to support this channel! Forever!!💚💚💚💚
This is great. I'm a fan of the recipes, but this is a step beyond. Thank you very much.
+I .Gate Thank you :)
Yes, please keep making these videos. I would really like to know how to make my own cosmetics. The older I get, the more allergic I seem to be getting of the commercial ones.
Exactly what I was looking for! I've had some bad luck with whipping butters (they're smelly). I was using non-comedogenic oils but really missed the "lotion" feel. This recipe is so simple and it's great that aloe vera gel has a rating of 0!
If I put this in the fridge do you think it would last more than 3 weeks? Thank you for this recipe!!! I am so excited to make it! The Vegan Corner
Fruitful Morgana Sure! At least for 5 weeks in the fridge :)
thanks!!
This works amazingly! I am so happy I can make my own now! I have made 3 batches already.
YES naturalistas!!!!! this is for hair too!!!!!
It's basically the kimmaytube leave-in without the conditioner.
Just wanted to throw it out there!
+Ebizzill For hair? I don't know, I guess you could use it for hair too, but I've never tried it myself.
Tried it. Worked well for my normal skin ❤️🔥🔥🔥🎉🎉 Made skin super soft .
I mix aloe vera with coconut oil, splash of lemon juice and few drops tea tree oil. It feels so much better than cosmetic creams lol
This is such a good tutorial! Much easier than boiling beeswax with butters and measuring water like other tutorials! A tip would be to have fun with the oils and make blends with anything from olive oil that you have in your kitchen to avocado oil and rosehip seed oil. Each oil different amazing qualities that different skin types can benefit from! I can definitely recommend coconut oil and almond oil which are my favourites as they're extremly moisturizing but also grapeseed oil which is non greasy and jojoba oil wich matches our skin's natural sebum! Have fun!
I mixed aloe with argan oil and rosehip oil and it is perfect on my skin! 😍
plzz say if i use aloe plant can i store it without freeze?
Love it
I didn't even know about this channel till a saw this DIY
please please PLEASE do other different recipe of lotion/ moisturizer. Maybe a green tea one?
thank you
Yes yes and yes‼️WoW I’ve subscribed that has to be the easiest quickest yet lovely recipe I’ve seen and would do‼️ Thank you so much. xx
Love it, I make my own cream but have never seen this version....I am going to try this one next ! Would love to see more cosmetic recipes.
Lindsay Leigh We shared the version we prefer, which yields great results with minimal ingredients. Due to the fact that you already make your own cream, I'd love to hear what you think about this recipe once you've tried it! Thanks for your comment
I love this video! Thank you for this recipe and please show us how to make more cosmetics!
It is really strange to see a such video, but after watching it, I am really happy and pleased! You did great and I think you shouldn't stop incorporating videos like this and shouldn't be afraid of experimenting on your channel. :)
kaikokitosuris Glad you weren't disappointed by this video :) We always try to differentiate our content so that more and more people can experience the benefits of this lifestyle. Thanks for watching!
Wow! This is amazing! I absolutely love everything you guys do anyway!
Please keep this series up!
I've just find your channel and it is amazing!! I am from México and I do not know where I can find aloe vera gel but this is very interesting and I really would like to taste this recipe. I think that the idea has a lot of potential. Please keep going.
+Irais Torres Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment! :) I hope you'll find the ingredients at some point and give this recipe a try
Will do...I am going to make it this weekend! I usually do an oil, water, wax emulsion so this is very intriguing:)
Lindsay Leigh The combination you've mentioned yields a very different result and I'm quite sure that you will enjoy this one just as much ;) Keep me posted please!
I love it! It is so simple to make, and it can still be customized for any skin type by choosing different oils. I 'd love to see more cosmetic recipes on your channel...thank you for this one
psivana Exactly! The important thing for us was to give a basic recipe for the cream, and everybody can customize it to meet their specific needs. Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment :)
This is so cool because of how simple it is. Vegan corner never disappoints
This is a really lovely non foodie recipe!
So great to have a moisturiser with no nasty sulphates in it. I'll definitely give it a go.
There are many, many 'what I eat in a day' vlogs out there of differing qualities, but I'm sure your's will stand out a mile, as usual, so I'd give it a go maties!
Karen Hill Thank you! I hope you'll manage to find the ingredients easily and that you will also enjoy the resulting cream. I'll see what we can do for the "what I eat in a day" videos ;) Thanks for watching and for sharing your opinion with us
This cream and eating plants killed my rosacea. I am happy. Thanks for sharing.
This looks great! It's similar to a cream my friend made me once and it was wonderful.
I loved this video! What a great recipe for a vegan cosmetic cream. I will definitely use it.
Ann Bellinger And I hope you will enjoy it! Thanks for watching
Thank you! I was looking for a vegan diy cosmetic recipe and this was perfect :)
Vegan stuffed Grape Leaves without oil RECIPE??? Is it possible?!? You guys are the best! Thanks for all your hard work with your videos!
WERDTOTHEDEE I've never heard of that recipe before, and I wouldn't even know where to find grape leaves honestly; sorry! Thanks for watching our videos and for your kind words!
Yes please Thank you so much I’m so happy that you make this and we wish we could see more of that 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🌹🌺🌷
I can't get enough of your channel ! I am definitely loving your cosmetics video, can't wait to try them out ! How do l know when they have gone off though ??
The texture looks amazing!!
+spenx09 Trust me, the consistency IS amazing ;) Thanks for watching
I do love seeing all types of videos that support the vegan lifestyle! great job!
+Searean Moon Thanks a lot! :)
Yesssssss more cosmetic videos please! Shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste!
YES Please.
Yes, I'd love to see more recipes like this one. Thank you!
Thank you . I love it! Is that aloe straight from the plant? MORE LIKE THIS PLEASE.
Planett Nicci Thanks, glad to hear that you enjoyed the idea of having this series on our channel! :)
It is not straight from the plant I'm afraid; we used the last aloe vera leaf of few days ago whilst we were trying to develop this recipe. Here we used standard 99.9% aloe vera bottled gel.
Am so doing this without delay. Thumbs up for you guys. Wow!!!
Oh yes, please... that's gold! I want more videos with DIY cosmetics. I've struggled with making my own foundation and now I'm totally lost, can't find any good vegan recipe. I'd try also this cream, but I bought aloe vera gel and it's very liquid and transparent, not like this one so I guess i wouldn't make a thick cream out of it... I have to experiment :D keep on doing great videos.
The cream looks so creamy. I will try this!
Tulay Susuz If you do try it, please let us know if you enjoyed it ;) Thank you!
Peace and love. Perfect cream .
SO COOL!!! I'm making this 100%. I can't wait to see more videos like this!!
a privileged vegan Yes, I can't wait to try and make it as well :)
a privileged vegan Glad you enjoyed it my friend :) Thanks for watching!
Peace and love. Magnificent cream
Great idea! The Vegan Corner can be interpreted as a corner where "everything" Vegan goes, it's not only the 'Vegan food corner' or the 'Vegan all-you-can-eat corner'.
I'm sure this series would be equally interesting and appreciated.
One question: adding some Vitamin E (tocopherol) would help with shelf life?
francesca Ⓥ di leandro How interesting! It is clear to me that the Italians know a lot about DIY creams :) I'm saying this because you are the third Italian person who asked me about tocopherol. Being pure vitamin E a very powerful antioxidant, it will certainly make the cream last for longer. However, I've never considered tocopherol a "real" preservative, despite it does have some interesting properties. Anyway, I'd say that a concentration of 2-3% would surely make this cream last for longer :) Thanks for watching my friend
I am so happily surprised and delighted with all of your videos. I recently discovered your channel and I've been binge-watching it since then. Please, do more DIY cosmetic videos. I hope to make this one soon. Again, thanks for sharing all of this. Greetings from Venezuela.
PS: I agree with the comments below referring to your humour. It's wonderful.
This is awesome!!
I was just searching for a recipe like this!
You made my day!
Thank you very much!
***** And I'm so happy to hear that :) It is such a pleasure to help people to use more natural products in general. Thanks for watching!
Thank you looking forward to giving this a go and would live to see more videos like this
I love how easy it is
Fantastic! I hope I can find the aloe gel. I just ran out of my face and body cream and wan't to get something vegan, with no chemicals. Thank you!
Can't wait to see what else you come up with!
balderdashery G I'm sure you will manage to find it on the internet. Look for 99.9% aloe gel, as it is one of the best you can find around. Thanks you for watching and for your comment! :)
YES I would enjoy this series very much!
Alice Rose Wonderful :) I'll make sure to keep it going
