Who is BikeStuff?? - Im just a guy who loves motorcycles, this channel is all about bikes i ride, film, test, review, fix and discuss. I do not represent a business or organisation but an ideology that everyone needs a bike in their life!. Thank you for reading this family friendly message :-) - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I decided id do something different this time, i hope you liked it.
I've missed your videos
Dont worry mate, i feel the same way.
omg that's so much work, man! you're crazy...
pretty cool vid!
Thanks, i had the time to do it, so why not.
Great job
Thanks bud.
Great video sir. thanks for sharing.
I got similar issues with a shiver. is there any special tool I'm gonna need for this job? just ordered a pair of sensors.
stubby nose screwdrivers really helped. some are hard to get out.
Fucks sake I subbed to this channel for epic Toyota Hiace vids
LOL, those videos are around. i got bogged in a new model Ford transit the other day!
Hey Man, very nice bike!! I've always been in love with the DD 750, it's a very good looking bike, what about reliebility, and power? Is it powerful than a MT-07??
Its Italian so some would argue a Japanese bike is more reliable. DD750 makes 92hp, 82nm at 4500.
the mt07 is 73hp, 65nm at 6500.
The dd750 sounds brutal with a good pipe, I'll have videos of it soon.
@@AridersLifeYT if you could make a video comparing MT-07 and the DD750 would be awesome, because I think the MT-07 seems to be lighter..
@@silvaridebikes the mt07 is like 15kg lighter, but when you remove the 16kg Euro 3 mid pipes from the aprilia then they are on par again.
Great video! Im thinking about buying an DD750. Has it given you any other problems? Is it reliable? Thanks!
I sold it. I regret selling this baby
Does that symptom, erratic idle only comes when hot? I have this symptom on my mv agusta turismo veloce when engine is hot. Diagnostic doesnt show any code. Only in the perimeter page, intake pressure shows higher than specs. Ive change fuel pump, fuel filter, swap ignition coil, spark plugs, check n recheck valve clearance, symptoms still there. No obvious vacuum leaks... u think i should try changing the MAP sensor?
Hi, the inconsistent idle is caused by the map sensor because it's reading rhe air flow wrong and it try's to counter the idle with the wrong airflow so that creates a catch 22 with the choking idle. I'd say yeah what you described seems to be very similar.
Cool stuff how'd you diagnose to find out map sensor went out?
the error on the screen "urgent service" and the bike was auto revving to 3k rpm.
So what happened, i went into the diagnostics on the onboard computer and the error code it gave me relates to a google search that was on the Aprilia Forums that lists all the error codes and solution's. So i ordered the updated APS sensors and then installed them myself. saved $900 in servicing fees.
@@AridersLifeYT thats actually awesome
always interesting when you get a replacement part and it isn't the same dimensions as the original.
is it just a different manufacturer ... or did they notice a failure point and fix the issue.
@@AridersLifeYT you didnt try to clean em off first?
@@PremiumUserUltra I did previously. Lasted about 10min of riding.
Hello DD brother,
Tonight I had a similar issue with my 750dd.. I went for a 70km ride and when I returned the bike stated Urgent service and died on me.. I did manage to turn it on, but it died again.. Before, I had an issue with throttle body and I cleaned it and it was good (maybe 10k km's).
Is there a chance it might be dirty again and cleaning would help it?
Ps. I did maybe notice slight delays when giving it gas in the recent period.. maybe cuz of the flaps not working properly?
Thanks
i would check and see what urgent service error code its giving, eg 06 or 14 etc etc. that would tell you
..Exactly what happened to my shiver a week ago..but now im waiting for fiat pin3 cable so i can diagnose to make sure i have the same problem as you..how did you know its the aps? and did you changed both APS front and rear or just the one failed
i noticed now from previous comment that you diagnose the problem from the dashboard. but mine showed nothing in this section so i assumed i need a guzzidiag or something
@@markkhoury5251 mine showed the error code and i googled it. :-)
Did you changed both APS? Front and rear?
@@markkhoury5251 Yes both APS, Front and rear where changed. the updated APS is made in china. its smaller and does not have the fault the previous generation one had.
@@AridersLifeYT ok thank you sir.. Can you please provide me the link so i can order the exact same ones
