Arlecchino have some sort of curse (which is probably at peak in her boss form) + orphanage and spy network all over Teyvat. Dottore ascended to "godhood" through science and essentially leading Snezhnaya scientist. Capitano seems to be main general for Fatui military and powerhouse by himself who is currently working on acquiring Pyro gnosis from nation of war. Tartaglia is said to be one of the most dangerous Harbingers in battle but since he barely involved in any schemes and prefers to act alone (unless he leads some other troops) he us ranked lower than Snezhnaya mayor or banker who have much more political influence than him.
On the other hand, Columbina was never mentioned to hold any political power in or outside of Snezhnaya and we don't know a single thing she did for Fatui before or after becoming Harbinger. Tartaglia is happy to fight anything strong. Archons, Neuvillette, Narwhal, whatever. But both him and Scaramouche tells us to stay away from her. She's probably the scariest character in Genshin, imo. Can't wait to spend all primogems I can get for her lmao

Yeah, I know people get into the hype to miss details but when a fairy tail is presented, It HAS to be something important since Genshin heavily uses allegories in their stories since the beginning.

I'm curious why so many people miss that Crucabena ("Mother") spells out _why_ Cervie and the other kids died right at the beginning of the video. The "story" she reads them isn't fiction. She outright tells the kids that when they get older, she's going to have them fight each other to the death, and the child who survives will be the strongest and be declared "King".
Lol not a single reaction I've seen payed attention to the first 20 seconds. It tells you that the previous knave forced the children to fight to the death to determine her successor.
honestly watching these reactions explain allot and shows why the game has Paimon lol. So many people iv seen that have comperhension issues with this short is crazy.

I feel like Arlecchino's killing of the previous Knave and becoming "Father" seemed to fulfill her best friend Clervie's wish, to become a "great king"
She killed the "Mother" who was kind and gentle on the outside but cruel and on the outside to become "Father" who is cold and unfeeling on the outside but caring on the inside in pure contrast to the previous harbinger instead of trying to reshape the title

Peruere/Arle definitely didn't kill Clevrie. If you notice the reflection, as Clevrie falls down, Arle is _still holding her sword_. It's most likely why Clevrie apologized (for breaking their promise to see the aurora borealis), and why Arle came to "Mother" with Clevrie's sword. She probably stabbed herself, as she couldn't fight her best friend.

Also about the flower, its definitely signifies Clervie as she's always wearing a necklace similar to it and when the Mother said she shouldve pruned it a long ago not waited till it wilts, just goes to say Clervie did end it herself, and she is sorry that Peruer is the one who has to do it.
I'd disagree to a certain point.
The Curvature and Hilt of Arles Blade in the reflection (aka her Blade that she had the whole time) as well as the blade she fights mother with later, as well as the curved blade sticking out of Clervie are one and the same blade.
Clevrie doesn't just fall down, but backwards, so she naturally falls off of the blade, while at the same time guiding Arles hand and blade downwards.
She stabbed herself on Arles blade, so Arle wouldn't have to kill her, and she wouldn't have to kill Arle.
Which is why 'mother' refers to kindness as useless, because it got Clevrie killed.
I'd even go as far as to say that Clevrie's blade was the dull blade that we later see with the orange put up as grave in memory of her.

The story of Arlecchino's past is literally a story that has a very happy and peaceful beginning, but in the end it has a sad ending, it makes me feel sad for her

Such is a tragedy which many of the characters in genshin though most hide with smiles

what are those theories, the reason for the killing is only because of the reason why the house of hearts was built. it's like Gu. You put all kinds of poisonous bug in a jar and wait for only one to come out which will be the strongest poison of them all, the king poison.
The last fight was between the two best friends, the rest are dead. Arlec is the only one that has the rights to claim the king title and kill their 'mother'. But at the same time she is also taking out her anger on her because of the same said killings.

The only problem with that is the fact the Freminant was actually at the house of the hearth when the Mother was still in charge of it... so clearly he didnt die in this battle as you put it are we sure everyone died ?? Or did Freminant run from having to battle his brothers and sisters ??

1:46 I think the English translation team pulled a punch here because that whole scene’s staging implies there wasn’t just an argument, there may have been a physical fight between a child and adult, aka an adult abusing a child, which is why Peruere had to bandage up Clervie

Peruere didn't kill Clervie, or at least not intentionally. After Clervie who's been impaled by the sword falls down, when the rain starts, you can see in the reflection in the glass that Peruere is still holding her blade.
Why are people using the fact that shes still holding the blade as proof? Clearly she was holding it as clervie was falling down, meaning the sword slipped out. Otherwise, we would hear a metallic sound as she hit the ground, which we didn't. I do think that peruere didn't intend to kill her. I would just think that she sacrificed herself on peruere's blade or let her kill her.
It was confirmed in Arlecchino's story quest that she was the one who killed Clervie

The storybook at the start pretty much laid out how the House of the Hearth operated. The children learned and gained strength, then they would kill each other in a battle royale so that the last one alive is crowded King.
Seeing as the building were either in ruins or covered with sights of battle and the other children are missing, Peruere and Clervie were probably the last two remaining combatants, and were simply forced to fight each other.
I assume not all children took part in the hunger games, otherwise the House would be severly understaffed. Also, the king challenging the harbinger isn't prolly a standard procedure, otherwise all of the freshly made kings would be killed before they became useful agents.
@@kacperwoch4368 The book does say "all" though. Maybe the previous version of the House didn't produce normal Fatui operatives like it does in the present, and was entirely focus on the battle royales.
The previous Knave didn't seem surprised that Peruere came for her though. Given that the new "king" probably won't be in a healthy mental state after murdering all their brothers and sisters, maybe it's the Harbingers job to beat them into submission in order to finish the conditioning.
@@903IDFOLEY Peruere fought Crucabena when she was like, a teenager or tween. So basically, Freminet was a small kid. When Clervie and Peruere were small children, like 6 or 7, they didn't fight. It took them till teenage years. So I'm assuming all the small children wait till they come of age then fight. Kinda like how grade school works. You kinda just wait till you get to experience the actual interesting stuff. But rather in this case, it's a battle to the death.
I like how, at that final moment, when she said no to mother, the form of a scythe takes shape and is quickly thrown. And due to it probably forming the first time, it is not a clear image of it
This is made by hoyos own animation studio while the genshin anime is gonna be made by ufotable so its gonna look more crispier than this but not as smooth as this
Atleast this is what i think is gonna happen based on both studios work uptil now but who knows maybe hoyos budget turns it both smooth and crispy

Her curse shows at the apex of the fight when she switches from emotional to calm, and the tides turn. I noticed her hands/arms were turning black, much like Caterpiller, the hilichurl that learned human speech… when he takes on a human form his hands and arms are also black. I wonder if Arrlechino is turning into an Abyss monster, and that is her curse?? Further, it explains why she always has gloves on her arms are probably permanently black.

whenever i'm watching this animation (or watching people's reaction), i have to remind to myself that this is *Genshin Impact* , it's soo different from what we've used to from any kind of animation content that it's felt so... fresh.

I read it somewhere that it is possible that Crucabena planned to kill her own daughter ("I should have pruned this flower long ago") but is upset to see her getting killed instead ("not wait till it wilts, how grotesque") -> from the way she talks to the flower and the bell flower kinda represents Clervie since she also wears the same flower necklace motif
Also as far as I remember from fremi character story he is brought to the house by his mother, even had a chance to meet the previous director. So it's not arle who found him so yeah

The children story book at the beginning clearly states that the house of the hearthe is a Battle Royale, and becoming a king prolly means to be the next Head of the Hose of the Hearthe or something else.

saw in a diff vid's comments, but i agree bc i did find that one shot weird. but that comment said that clervie was killed by her own mother bc
1. her mother's shown to have ice powers
2. when clervie falls down, the thing that stabbed her also fell with her since it's still stuck inside her
3. if u look at arle's hand, one is by her side, and one is holding a rapier, NEITHER is positioned in a way that could make stabbing clervie work
4. the thing stabbing her didnt rly look like a blade, there's some like angles to that thing, that commenter called it an icicle and i can see that
5. (and this was the bit that sold it to me after all those other reasons) Mother talked about pruning the lumi whatever flower bc it was wilting, clervie's necklace is of the same flower, and it's the same flower that arle saw and motivated and gave her the final kick (ehe) to kill Mother

The "I'm sorry" most likely was Clevire apologizing to arlecchino that she had to die for her to become king and survive and "Thank you" was probably thanks for creating so many beautiful memories together with me
Also I do believe Clevire is dead, just because we see her in 4.6 art doesn't mean she's alive and in the art she's also a child again so maybe she's just a spirit or memory of water and is reaching out to the sibling trio to try and help them get something through to arlecchino
It could be possible she's alive, if she shares the Ice power of her mother and it's not a vision or delusion they could be part of a long lived race and the former harbinger was obliterated by arlecchino while clevire just merely stabbed herself
Crucabena said she *should* have pruned the flower early instead of waiting for it to wilt. Since she’s talking about Clervie here, I think it’s more likely that either A: Arlecchino’s curse is what killed her, because to me it looked like one of her boss forms attacks, or B: Clervie offed herself because she knew her mother would never accept her as King to the House of the Hearth, leaving the title for her best friend alone.

i dont think it was because of the curse, cleverie had somehow arleccinos curse in control you can see that it didnt progress till the point where she had to kill her friend because of the houses rules of battle. At the end of the animation we see scaramouche alone and signora next to capitano
I presume that arlechino is going to left the fatui after the 4.6 so her and scaramouche both left.
And since signora has been turn in to ash during the inazuma story quests, I presume that a small detail to say "capitano is going to get killed during natlan story quest"
