I checked more online and saw that the teaser was rumored to come out on May 2nd and I just don’t believe that since genshin said it’s a long-term project. Me personally I wouldn’t trust what anyone says until hoyoverse or ufotable gives some news or a teaser trailer.

A kind and caring "mother" at the front, a child experimenting battle royal monster at the back.
While Arlecchino is a strict and cold "father" at the front, and to be fair also trains her children, she loves them probably more than anything.

Also, I kinda find hilarious the fact, that after defeatig all other kids, she was supposed to become a "King", but instead, after killing "Mother" who also was a Harbinger, she was accepted as next Harbinger, named "Knave"

Their "mother" seemed warm and caring but was ruthless and made the children fight against each other. So she became the "father", cold and strict, but always taught her children to prioritize survival.

Here's a fun fact:
In JP version when Arlecchino asked about mother-daughter argument she was specifically used the word "oyako"which only used when said parent and child had blood relation.
Which means Clervie, the girl with reddish hair, was the previous Knave's birth-daughter.
The theory was that previous Knave wasn't satisfied with her own daughter bcs she was 'kind' and 'innocent'. Saw it as a 'useless' trait, which was why she wanted Arlecchino to be 'King'.
The previous Knave said 'she should've pruned the flower before it wilted' alluding to the fact she should've killed her own daughter long ago rather than saw her (probably 'sacrificing herself') died like that.
Clervie was wearing Lumidouce bell flower pendant around her neck. The flowers also held by previous Knave and looked at by Arlecchino when she was down.
not true. oyako mean parent. it can be an adoptive parent too. you miss something. to be accurate, she mention 'honto no oyako', literally mean true parent, where it is commonly refer to biological parent.

3:14 The previous Father (or in this case they call her "Mother") already stated at the beginning of the video that "your goal is to learn, to compete, to defeat all your brothers and sisters in battle, to become "King" ", that's why Arlecchino have to kill her friend. EDIT: after watching multiple streamers who reacts to this animated short, I found the similarity that people got confused to why Arlecchino has to kill her friend Clervie when the previous "Mother" literally stated at the beginning of the video. This is why Paimon has to do the re-explanation because people tend to forgot what literally been said moments before, and in this case for streamers they have the chat that act as Paimon explaining to them lol.
Also in 6:04, you missed the part where 2 Fatui guards talking each other about Arlecchino just killed a Harbinger, basically the "Mother" here was a Fatui Harbinger, which is why Arlecchino has to be put in jail. Then later the snowflake that flew pass her to the window is actually not her thinking of her friend, I think what it meant is the Tsaritsa "welcome" her to become a Fatui Harbinger (I mean the Tsaritsa is the Cryo Archon, and snowflake is related).

I personally like the idea of the snowflake representing the Tsaritsa's welcome to arlecchino, as if even though she's cast aside her role as the God of Love, she is still capable of showing pity and kindness. I'm curious how they'll characterize her! I hope she isn't just a generic ice queen-esc character-
Also, Arlecchino wasn't there during the story of the king so she didn't know. That's why her friend said sorry because she never told her about the truth.

I might be making a stretch here, but when Arle saw the auroras before she was officially named the Knave, it was bittersweet since her friend wasn't able to see the lights with her, but it was also kinda symbolic like her friend is with her in spirit in that moment.🤧🤧🤧
Arlecchino can be considered a perfect example of the sentence "each villain has a pitiful and sad past to create evil in their souls".

@@vukkicos5688 personally, i'd think she is on the grey area, like she obviously has a death count of thousands(presumably)as a harbinger, plus she killed the previous knave and is the antagonist in 4.6 somehow. her good side is mostly shown in the house and the whole 'get the gnosis and save fontaine' thing

"PRESUMABLY killed thousands" in her 10 years of servitude to Tsatitsa, so Scaramouche who was a proven maniac must've killed at least 100k people in his ~400 years of being a harbringer - unless it is confirmed, do not spread around bullsh*t.
As for her story quest, there was an amazing theory about it on Arle mains reddit which holds a lot of water and is apparently coroborated by several leaks, but I will let you experience it for yourself, which you should before calling her villain/gray character.
@@vukkicos5688 look, your point is indeed valid however according to scara and childe’s Voiceline about her, most of those who have seen her dark side have disappeared so there’s really no proof if she just wipe them from reality off-screen, and obviously if childe’s voice is a bit dramatic then there has to be a basis for him to say something like that(just go to the internet if you don’t have scara and childe in your team)

As for Childe, he just said that she is ready to betray anyone as long as it fits her best interests, which doesnt really make her a villain, and *depending on the situtation, not even a gray character*

From what I understood, Arlecchino didn't kill the "girl", it's leading us to believe the "girl" throw herself at the sword, you can see her hugging Arlecchino before she colapses, I guess that's why she's asking for forgivness before she dies.

Guessing which VAs do certain enemies in Genshin is a fun nerdy game. I’ve only really clocked one and that’s Cristina Vee (aka Bennett and Xingqiu’s VA) voicing the Mirror Maiden. And that only registered bc of the death line sounding similar to Xingqiu’s voice when you beat her. Never would have guessed otherwise! VAs are so talented.

But Arlecchino raw power is so terrifying when other people speak her name they are scared.
Unlike scaramouche a lot of people know him but aren't terrified Yae miko was able to bargain with him. Yes his power level is great but he was just still naive and power hungry he became short sighted. So the way I rank Scaramouche's power is something like this
1.Wanderer
2. Mecha Scaramouche
3. Puppet Scaramouche
Current Wanderer is more powerful because of his self acceptance. And from his Dialouge the knave assassinates

We really need background story of Arlecchino since we don't have idea about what happened in past.
Every Fatui Harbinger have great story.
I love how every reactor I’ve watched so far completely misses the fact that the story at the beginning just directly tells us that children in this orphanage are forced to fight each other until only one remains. It’s not even subtle - they just straight up tell you, with a visual of a bunny sitting on top of bodies of other bunnies. It’s so obvious - yet then it’s followed by a cheery colourful atmosphere, with smiling kids and a sweet woman. Seeing all that just puts you in a dissonance- how can something so horrible just be said and nobody’s reacting? Everything seems so happy. So you just forget. Your brain just pushes that information out almost immediately, and then everyone is confused as to why Arlecchino killed her friend (or at least that’s how it seems), and miss the whole plot point. The pretty picture of the orphanage makes you question the horrible truth, until you forget it and then are shocked when the inevitable happens. I just think it’s a cool illustration of how the House worked with the previous Mother

Why all my favourite reactors don’t noticed the dialogues??? They give us Arlecchino’s real name, the fact that children used to fight to death to become « King » and even TWO previous Father/Mother of the House of Heart
Because all this reactors cant just shut up and stop yapping for several minutes even when they not on stream, i think they just misunderstood the meaning of the reaction video. All they can is just jumping and screaming shit like «omg, so badass, cool, let's go!» instead of, you know, actually react to what they watching. I swear not one of the reactor i've seen so far don't get any of those little detail like Arle real name for example because they just cant stop mumbling.

Hi Jonathon. About your comment at 3:38, the one Mother was referring to, the flower that needed to be pruned was Arlecchino’s bestfriend Clervie. (She was wearing the Lumidouce Bell Flower pendant). She is also the Mother’s BIOLOGICAL DAUGHTER. She probably forced the two to fight, knowing that her daughter is weak and her getting killed will prepare Peruere (Arlecchino)to become the “King”. hope this helps. 👍🏻👍🏻

In the original Chinese, Clervie is said to be the previous knave’s biological daughter! This fact didn't translate in the English version for some reason
Mother trained the kids to fight one another when they’re ready and the last one standing will be the one true “king” as preached to them since they were young (the story they were told in the beginning). Probably would need to face Mother in the end as well like a final boss.

The child with the pink hair is the biological child of 'Mother' in a different language and she was wearing a necklace of the same wilted flowers. So 'mother' was talking about her not arlecchino
The reason why Arlecchino had to kill Clervie is explained at the very beginning with the "story", the children had to fight each other to determine the "King". Hence Clervie saying she'll become a great "King", also like why she apologized and thanked Arlecchino, apologizing over how they had to fight and thanking Arlecchino for being the one that won.
Also when "Mother" was talking about the wilted flower, she was talking about Clervie (who was also her biological daughter not an orphan) as Clervie has a necklace with that same flower, she wasn't talking about Arlecchino.

Instead of playing with the volume, I recommend turning on captions. Genshin Impact tends to hide stuff in their captions as well, which you'll not even notice unless you have it on to begin with. Also, always good for your hard-of-hearing folk :)

Pink/Read-headed girl Clervie is actually the past Arlecchino's daughter! That's why they look alike. When Father Arlecchino asked "Do mothers usually fight with their daughter" she meant Clervie and her Mother. When Mother said she should have pruned the flower before it wilted and innocence and kindness are "useless" qualities were meant for Clervie since mother wabted Clervie to become King but she was too soft to become one.
