Wow! What an amazing collection! I like that Gene collects this stuff. I remember playing both of those pinball machines. He's very smart to get into so many things like vodka and soda and all the other business ventures he's into.

My son moved to Las Vegas last December for work. He flew me out on March 5 from Alabama for a visit. One of the first places he took me to was the KISS museum at the Rio. I was a senior in high school when they started and I’ve been a fan ever since. Let me tell y’all that I was in KISS heaven!
When my husband lived in Germany with his parents( his dad was in the Army), he got to help set up for their concert and with sound check. He even got autographs from all of the band members. Sadly, when they moved back to the states someone stole his KISS memorabelia. Loved this vlog.

Glad you were able to visit. It be been a huge Kiss fan since I was 11 years old and they were my first rock concert in 1990 on the Hot in the Shade Tour in Cleveland. When they put the makeup back on in 1996, it was a dream come true. I will cherish the 3 times I got to see them that summer forever. Not really into the current lineup/lip syncing but there is nothing like 1974-1978 KISS!
Great video Jordan. The extent of this museum might indicate KISS is planning a Las Vegas residency at sometime after the last two shows at MSG in early December 2023.
Gene is a marketing genius. I went to the KISS coffee shop in Myrtle Beach not to long after it opened. Bought a coffee cup, looks like a YETI. Cool place. That museum is unbelievable. Thanks for the tour, Jordan!
Jordan this is one Epic video lol Gene is on unique and cool & such a eccentric characters that you just sit back & watch.just something small to share Shannon was from Saskatoon Saskatchewan about 2.45 hr away from where i live. Same as Roddy Piper my absolutely favorite of all wrestlers!. This museum is just Superb i expect nothing less from one of the hardest working bands in history of Rock & Roll lol & Gene a true classic! This was so cool Jordan. Kiss was the first band i got into growing up. Eric singer is the coolest i remember he said hello to me in passing when he was drummer for Alice cooper a absolute legend. I have to go to this one day and check out.👍

The drum kit is Eric Singers, he used it on KISS Kruise VI when they did the Creatures of the Night setlist in 2016.

The posters were the self album inserts. Surprised there's not more Peter and Ace stuff. They are important to Kiss.

Mark St.John who played in the Kiss band , his real name is Mark Norton ,he went to Garden Grove Highschool in Garden Grove California, he had aband back then called Jabberwockey , his band even practiced at my mom's house back in the 70's

That is one awesome museum of kiss I have the perfume and lotion and found it at the Armada flea market it was in its original box I so excited when I saw that I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to get it or not and my boyfriend seen that I couldn't make up my mind on getting he then went and bought it and surprised me with it and if I remember right I have the Scooby-Doo meets KISS and I still have my very first cassette tape of Kiss I bought myself with my own money as a kid the look on my moms face when she saw the cassette tape

My dad took my younger brother & his friends to see KISS at the Capital Centre, Largo, Maryland during their '76 tour. Something he remembered for the rest of his life! The good, he thought Gene was especially talented & the bad, he didn't enjoy all of the surrounding fans' drinking, drugging & throwing up around them. Gotta love KISS!

Great video. What happened to Peter Criss? I know Erik has been with them for a while. I used to follow KISS in the 70’s when Peter was the drummer. Eric is fabulous, don’t get me wrong. Just curious as to their parting of the ways with Peter.
Peter pretty much retired from drumming, he's usually seen out and about at various Jersey Shore haunts and conventions.
I am one of the ultimate KISS fanatics. That place is amazing. Been there twice
If the cymbals are level, it's definitely Eric Singer's kit. He used the same style kit when I saw him with Alice Cooper, back when Kip Winger was his bassist.

What a fabulous place! I've seen KISS several times in concert and they are awesome on stage. Gene Simmons is a brilliant artist and astute businessman- and started bands thinking about their image and marketing. I'm glad there is a museum fir fans to visit- I remember seeing him on MTV cribs abs thinking how much merchandise KISS has produced. I went in November. Looks like they had other things out that they didn’t back then. So much stuff. I wonder if the rumors are true that the Rio will be demolished to make room for the new MLB stadium.
Thanks for sharing. My only beef is that they should have allowed Tommy & Eric to create their own characters.
Nobody would care.. people have an attachment to the original characters.. you never see anyone at a Kiss show wearing vinnie's make up, amd rarely Eric carr.
@@DazewithJordantheLion Many hardcore KISS fans do care that the characters were reused. Fans have attachments to the people and the characters. To those fans it just seems inauthentic. I don’t have anything against Eric or Tommy, I just think it would have been a lot cooler to carry on the tradition of adding new costumes for new members in the makeup era. I realize Ace & Peter sold the rights to the designs, but I still think they should have been reserved/retired for those original guys. BTW I dig the stuff you’ve done w Eric.
But as far as selling KISS tickets, gene and Paul are right. The fans want the original makeup.

I saw them w Bruce Kulick & Eric Carr on the Crazy Nights Tour in ‘88, the OG 4 in ‘96 (I won front row tix from a KISS costume contest) and saw the very last Peter Criss live tour appearance on Oct. 7, 2000. Incidentally that was called “The Farewell Tour”. 😆 Rock on, bro!
