Well Done, Jordan ! I Love movie locations, these were amazing. HEY, the OLD TUCSON STUDIOS has been restored and reopened down in Tucson. A company bought it to save it ! If you haven't yet, AWESOME place to explore and Vlog ! The set for BIG VALLEY is there. The Three Amigos was filmed there. Many old Westerns were filmed down there. JOHN WAYNE did filming down there. Sadly the set for Mankado used in Little House On The Prarie burned during the fire there. I got to see it before it closed, saw it in the 90's. They are back up and open and they do a Halloween Haunt there in October. Good Stuff, Thank You for the amazing work you do !

Had no idea of your destination till you got there. Oh Kanab!………We have been there!……..Our good friend lives there and works at Best Friends. We toured the movie sets. Looks like it could use some maintenance. Kanab is a great place. We really enjoyed our visit there.

There are some apple trees behind the Cassidy house with delicious apples! Brought my Mother some home and she was thrilled!!
My mother-in-law lives in Fredonia, AZ which is 4 miles from Kanab, UT. Lots to see and do! The Josey Wales house is fun. We went in and took pics. Its made of Styrofoam and fiberglass, but still fun. Then we went out to Paria, where some of TOJW was filmed, along with many other shows. Some asswipe burned the little movie set down.

It's ka-nahhhb, not Ka- knob. Tons of westerns filmed here. The Parry Lodge has alot of movie info. Sinatra had the pool put in because they didn't have one!
Johnson Canyon near Kanab is where Gunsmoke set is but they've let it fall down.
The movie, Western Union was filmed in that area, along with many, many others.
Dinosaur footprints on top of the Mesa just down from Little Hollywood, by the Port of Entry. Sorry I keep adding, but you missed so much in Kanab. A great little town!!!

We would pass by here going fishing at Otter Creek and a few years ago this cabin was empty and no plexiglass, etc. I have pictures I took back then.. I don't think any of the furniture is original to the family.

This was really so interesting, Jordan! I went through a stage where I just loved the classic Western Movies, so I really enjoyed seeing everything you showed us. I have been watching here on CZcams, Word on Westerns. Pretty much Rob Word interviews people from the classic Western movies & TV. Actors, stunt people, ect...it's just about 20 minutes (?) to maybe 45 minutes. Last Saturday he interviewed Steve Stevens... quite the classic Western Gentleman! In case your interested!!!

Very cool video! I had been wondering if the Outlaw Josey Wales set was still around, so it’s great to see it! I am guessing they moved that building since the filming? In the film the structure is in a valley with mountains behind it. Any info on that?
Yes, they moved it from the original location to here to save and display it

I agree! It's definitely a great place to visit and the story about it is terrible. We don't live very far from the site. It's kinda spooky, too.
