Nets could’ve had him walk and the teams with cap space next free agency are not competitive. He had to force a trade because he wants to get his money and compete. A lot of people talk bad about Durant now but they will truly miss him when he's no longer playing. When Kobe passed away, I didn't see another player that I like skill-wise with finesse. Guys like Kawhi Leonard are not consistent enough and don't play enough. Kevin Durant is probably the next best thing to watch. I truly hope he wins and brings a good identity to this team because he is deserving of it
