I believe that Man City's out of favor Sergio Gomez could be a revelation at the LM role. He was superb for Anderlecht bagging 19 G/A in one season. He is not getting a lot of minutes under Pep cause of the new 5 CB system. But he could work out great. He could also play LW and LB.

I was not expecting Zubimendi for the pick of Liverpool's signing, but would be such an amazing player and clearly someone who will complete the Liverpool starting XI. Unfortunately, it looks like he won't leave Soceidad, as Barcelona went in for him last summer and he surprisingly rejected them.
I think with how Liverpool have been in the past with transfers, if Endo is doing a good enough job they won’t go hard on trying to replace him yet, unless a great deal is available on the market.

As a LFC fan, if we could get Zubimendi and Gonçalo Inácio, I would trust Liverpool going to the wire with Man City for the title again. The cherry on top would be Johan Bakayoko. Although, I would be worried that we couldn't register all the players due to the homegrown rule in both the UCL and PL. Another reason why I think we should have gone a lot stronger on Rice rather than Bellingham (ie. Rice was more realistic to sign bcuz of the RM links with Bellingham) last summer, but c'est la vie.

Most people don’t understand what winter transfer windows are for. As a mid table club like Sassuolo for example, why would you sell you by far best player in winter? Illogical because the chances that the replacement works immediately and as efficiently are very low (this is an instance of you won’t get a player of that caliber for the money you sold him for). Thats what the summer is for, because they actually participate in the pre-season preparation.
Long story short, winter transfer windows are made to handle with numerical weaknesses, not structural (in the summer) weaknesses of the squad for example a different type of winger or striker than you have rn to deal with different play styles of the opponent or backups for depth. Thats why zubimendi, berradi and osimhen are 100% unrealistic and stupid. And thats why ekitike is very realistic since he doesn’t get any play time and is irrelevant at msg

Liverpool should sign João Palhinha. Endo is fantastic, but he’s gone for a month, will have to get used to the time switch when he gets back, and is the only natural 6 on the roster. Signing Palhinha will add a class 6, good depth, and good competition for both him and Endo for the starting spot. For me, Palhinha fits perfectly into our team

Honestly think psg has a lot of players that could potentially do better on a team outside psg. I also feel like a lot of PSG’s players are very obtainable. I personally would stop gambling on no names from leagues that aren’t as tough as the premier league, and players that are playing in situations with less pressure. It’s a big gamble on assuming/thinking a player is not gonna feel the pressure of playing for a premier league team and especially a top premier league team. It’s ok to make that gamble once in a while, but a lot of clubs seem to just be building whole teams full of these types of players. I also think a lot of these teams like Chelsea and Man U need more senior players/older players/players with experience. Thiago Silva is 39 and still adds so much to that Chelsea team, and same with sterling. Casemiro, Varane, and Eriksen same thing. It’s just that experienced mentality that adds a lot of value to younger players. It’s more a mental thing that they bring that I think it’s valuable, but a lot of these players can obviously still play/perform. These big clubs have the money and power to spend on older players that might only play for 1-3 seasons, and realistically it won’t impact them. It will also allow young players to grow and learn a lot, and boom that’s your future sorted.
What liverpool need is not a 6 but a cb for god's sake. We already needed a defender in the summer and now its a priority with the injuries. Someone like inacio or todibo should be the player we should sign

i dont know whether they fit the tactical setup city is playing. Their full back are typically not wide and high up the pitch. They often form a back 3 or go into central midfield so i doubt davies or balde might be a good fit

Right now I'd love to see a LB/CB signing, someone who can play both. I love Gomez as much as the next LFC fan, but he is injury prone and we dont have anyone else who can play that position with both Robbo and Tsimikas injured. And same thing with VVD/Konate, god forbid they get injured we are fucked. Zubimendi feels like a summer signing for LFC with MacAllister and Bajcetic (soon supposedly) back from injury and Endo performing like his life depended on it, I dont see a reason to sign a CDM right now, if anything we need another CAM, because Szobo and Thiago are injured.
They could offer Nketia in exchange for Toney. Even if it’s a Loan to cover them for the season or even season and a half.

United most importantly need a CM. Eriksen past it, Casemiro leaving/past his best, McTominay cant play midfield. Our whole quad is reliant on a good youth player in Mainoo and Fernandes and thats only the beginning of our problems.

Their midfield been unbalanced and lacking a genuine number 8 which Havertz most certainly isn't and never will be is also playing a big part in their struggle to score goals this season. They should have bought a proper replacement for Xhaka like say Zubimendi. As a result they are effectively using two number 10's which means Odegaard can no longer initiate the attack.

Ivan Toney will not be match fit. He has been training but that's completely different from playing a match. Arsenal will need a number 9 but they probably want that number 9 to hit the ground running.
Ivan Toney would be a great signing for Arsenal. However, Brentford is struggling, and Ivan will be a bit rusty due to a lack of games for this season. I can't see Brentford selling him until the summer of 2024. I could be wrong, but from my opinion, Ivan Toney would guarantee Brentford's survival.
I don't want ivan toney anywhere near my club he's so overated. And he's 28 they want close to Harry Kane money. I'd rather have boniface vlahovich openda or lautaro martinez. Not one of these would cost anywhere near what toney would cost they are all younger with a higher ceiling than toney. And better footballers which considering our style of play all would be a better fit.

What's this guy on about saying we need a left back? What happens if we get one and then Robbo and Kostas come back from injury? What we really need is another CB who can also play LB if needed like Inacio or Hincapie. We don't need a proper LB at all, especially if Gomez stays fit, and keep in mind Robbo is meant to be back after the international break anyway.

as an arsenal fan, what i realistically see happening is new defender coming in, probably on a loan deal due to ffp. we are short on numbers at the back given timber's season ending injury and tomiyasu's never ending injury list, excluding soares who has been marked surplus for a while we have 6 defenders, another is needed. depressingly we need goals and we need a midfield upgrade on the injury prone partey, jorginho, and elneny. so in an ideal world we'd spend 200 mil on inacio, zubimendi and either martinez or osimhen. but not gonna happen.
