Wow..a trip down memory lane for me! I used to go to Tal y Bont for my holidays with my parents ( from Wolverhampton) starting I guess in about 1960 until about 1967 ( I was born in 1955). The narrow road down to the beach was well walked and in those days the dry stone walls even in the early 60's caused many a traffic jam. I seem to remember more wet and windy summer holidays than hot ones.

What a lovely area....Barmouth Bay looks beautiful. Really enjoyed this video, even though it's 2yrs old. Take care x

I used to live in Tal Y Bont. Lovely to see the old place again. My mum and dad had their honeymoon there in 1949
Omg I have a bungalow in fairbourne and barmouth is amazing I go every holiday and was meant to be down there now but sadly cant due to covid
