This is one of my favourite thrash songs, one of the first non-USA/British heavier bands I'd heard.
One thing to me in my mind was the main tremolo picked riff - the fast one - represented the drone of the aircraft engines that would spray the chemicals. Not sure what exactly, just how it sits in the mix.
It was like before the thrash beat kicks in, it feels like it's heading down the runway, then takeoff, then carrying out the mission. Just an observation.

Great reaction btw, as for Angel ripper vocals, its down to the fact that Sodom in early 80s and beginning of their career, the albums was pretty much black metal with lyrics and songs about devils, darkness. So nope, the German thrash metal have that dark edge to it just like we see with Slayer

If you want to check out another classic thrash metal track ... that has a more accessible vocal ... I'd suggest RAZOR, "Take This Torch" from Armed and Dangerous or the title track from Evil Invaders. Thrash it up!

That is my favourite Sodom Album, as an LP it was double folded so by opening you could see the senerie like by Beasty boy's with the airplane.
I borrowed the LP a Friend in late 1989, he moved away and I never got it back.

One of the best SODOM tracks fer sure. If you want to check out another, I would suggest "Nuclear Winter" from their Persecution Mania album.
Besides this one, I'm only familiar with City of God, which is a great song.
